This was a really fun and thoroughly enjoyable read. To be honest, the first chapter felt a little all over the place but by the time I reached the second chapter, that feeling as no longer there and the story only got better and better as it went along :-)

Hi Mommadon! Firstly, sorry for the typos in my reviews I am using my phone. Secondly, thank you for writing this fic! It takes a noble soul indeed to tackle the challenge of a post season 3 fic and I enjoyed your take on it! I binged it in one sitting hehe
I stopped reviewing every chapter as I was going through because I wanted time to process the work as a whole and comment. And having finished the narrative arc of Adventurer, here are my highlights! 1. Sabine Cheng primarily but the Dupain-Cheng household at large. Even as a reader, *I* felt welcome to their home. The little nod at the end of the parents knowing was super cute. And how they adopted Chat and commandeered him into baking was utter perfection. 2. Marichat! Now I have some thoughts on er the tangle these two got themselves into in this story but I really, really enjoyed your depiction of the Marichat friendship. It was so nice to see them be appreciated for the side of themselves that needed that validation. And they found that in each other. I’d be interested in your writing of these characters outside of a post season 3 world, or through a different focal point! 3. Action! Akumas! I’m not one for caring much about akumas in fanfiction but I have to nod to your dedication at writing them and especially at the beginning where I felt that even akuma battles furthered end game plot. I liked how action-heavy this was and the cliffhanger chapters!
So, thanks again for posting and sharing Adventurer with us! It was a fun ride :D

The Ladrien scene was so beautifully and tenderly written but another part of me was yelling don’t do it! this love square is messy enough as it is! aw man hahaha

Ok so my thoughts! He DIDNT TELL HER THAT BAKER GIRL WAS GOING TO BE TARGETED? EXCUSE ME MR CHAT THATS YOUR NUMBER ONE JOB ok caps lock over I get expressive when I’m excited
But seriously the issue with Marichat is if it leaks then marinette is going to be a target and she really can’t handle that much pressure. Also, welp she’s already a target - I suppose she’d pretty much just be a hostage if Marichat became leaked at all
So I was pretty skeptical of Marichat however, they’re handling it with an awful amount of maturity and not taking their ‘baggage’ of previous experiences with them, like Marichat is a fresh start and I kind of love that for them. It almost makes me wish that we could have Marichat without the rest of the square because their dynamic is so healthy and good currently

I also forgot to add last chapter! Marinette teaching him what it means to truly be a hero was so so touching I loved it
There’s like no better feeling in the world of being taken along for a ride and knowing the author knows where they’re going, this being backed up by this fic being complete and did I spy a sequel on your profile too? So eeee still excited to keep reading! This London segue has been way cool and plot progressing!

I also feel the need to say this. How you wrote Sabine Cheng is amazing and for you to write a mum like that and to know from your ANs that you’ve got 4 kiddies of your own like you must be the greatest mum ever
Now back to the gasp, surely this can’t happen without some kind of fallout/consequences! I really feel like they aren’t straight or committed enough to any one direction for this to work even remotely. But still. It’s fanfiction. And my marichat heart will sing NOTWITHSTANDING

I think the more of this I read, the more I accept your version of canon. I really enjoyed this chapter! The Ladynoir touches are so sweet and I love their phone chats. And I also love how while all of this is happen, plot ticks inexorably on - which is exactly what I turn to fanfiction for :D

I love it! There’s post season 3 plot, there’s character development, there’s friendship - ahh my new fave trifecta

Came here by way of referral from a friend! Chapter 1 was so busy! My personal take on some of the characters are different but I gotta admit the whole love hexagon nonsense pretty much collapses when Kagami and Luka aren’t as likeable. Kagami was especially harsh! I was lik I’m really liking the story so far! And I always get a kick out of Marichat being used as a vehicle to help them get closer to each other hehe
I also gotta nod to the fact that Lila is as terrible as always which is well done but also Alya, being an actual friend! This is the Alya we know and love and I’m so happy to see her presented in fanfiction :D
