While I completely understand the probable shock that Marinette and her parents were probably in during that part of the episode, I so wish that this was the initial instinct by her mom and what was actually portrayed. Go Momma Bear Cheng! Would love to see where this could go from here.

I am in love with this fic, thank you for fixing the episode! I've been super frustrated with Marinette parent's twice this season. The first time was when Lila lied to get Marinette kicked out of school, why didn't they push the school to investigate Lila's claims!? She said her ankle was hurt, demand to see a doctor's note! The second time was Chat Blanc. They kind of stood up for her, but like, not nearly as much as you'd expect. I'll admit I did enjoy the angst of the episode, but I wish things had gone like they did in your fic. Thanks for sharing!

I so wish this happened in canon. It would be satisfying to watch Sabine roast the jerkass bastard Gabriel like a pro. Sadly the writers suck with this series, despite efforts.

The writers of the show are really pissing me off as of late (more like as of s2) but that ep take all the cake. Thank you for making this, I mean like how her parents look like they should act from other things. The writers are just OOC-ing there own Character JUST HOW DO THEY DO THIS SO BADLY.

What a great story! The ending broke my heart but in a good way. I’m so happy they stayed together, though them being sad really stung...
