Loved this story.

For so long I was trying to find a fanfic where they would feature a young, naive and idealistic Shirou; but most of what I saw offered a Shirou power wank, probably when he was in his adult years and gave up saving everyone, or accepted the ideal of Kiritsugu, which involved saving the majority.

Glad that this Shirou's still a child at heart and is learning about the world; perfect for character development.

Wish that the other heroes (Itsuki, Ren, Motoyasu but I doubt the latter since he's technically similar with Shirou but instead of a sword, a womanizer) would have character development, too!

In the short amount of time you have wrote this story competitively to most long well thought ouut ones, i have to say im quite impressed with both the background knowlage of both series and creative ways to fit our young outside hero in the mix was quite refreshing. Most stories with the Emiya has him already being a master, you did the opposite and made it enjoyable to read.
I applaud you and your work and wait for more with baited breath.

Naofumi pov is very flawed, anything is better than being a slave, specially a demi human one, also shirou would not doubt himself , that is one of his main characteristics, he is going to become a hero or he will die trying.

IT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES

I'm liking it, this is definitely one of the better Fate/Shield Hero crossovers out there. I don't really mind you staying close to the source material, partly because most of my knowledge of the series comes from watching 2/3 of the anime and fanfiction, so it's not so much a retread for me.

Also, don't get me wrong, I like some snark, but while snarking is definitely a big thing for Archer EMIYA, Shirou... I don't know, I don't think it's as much his thing.

Shirou has an oddly advanced vocabulary and style of speech for someone who's mentally 12 years old. It's been bothering me for a bit actually.

I don't really blame you, trying to write with a child's vocabulary when you're not one can be hard.

So, They have found the martial arts granny who will teach then the technical of absolute piecing punch, isn't?

Enjoying your story very much and hope you keep up the great work! I really enjoy how this story is diverging because of its little butterfly effects from the very beginning. Starting with learning about using multiple monster drops of the same kind for faster mastery and multiple shield forms from the same monster, it's a great way to give Naofumi an edge that seems natural. I like how this version of Shirou is slowly having effects on Naofumi and vice versa, in terms of both power and mindset. The dynamic of the idealistic and selfless Shirou and the selfish and realistic Naofumi is great and both helps teach the other lessons and balance each other out. In terms of power this hastily grown 12 year old Shirou is the weakest in terms of combat ability compared to his canon iterations, but the blessings of shields stat growths, giving him better control over his magic circuits and a few more notable Noble Phantasms from his world and he can very well be a force to be reckoned with.

This story is really good and interesting but I can't help but wonder what's happening in Shirou's Japan and what this means for his grail wars. Also you mentioned the possibility of a mage from his world dropping him into the world he's currently in and off the top of my head Zeltrech is the only one who can do that considering the branch of True Magic he's the Master of bit I can't see him sending someone to another world in a form in which he'd be treated as a lesser being and likely become a slave.

Fun read as always and a different take on the story path I like it
