I enjoy this Chapter a lot and I like this Story, I would fucking love to see some of the Xenophibc tendencies of The Blood Angels and Lamenters possibly even Imperial Colonists mellow out for a While to allow people to see them as Good and Honest people and Warriors, I digress The Imperium IS xenophobic for a reason namely for the many Wars fought and the past during the Age of Strife now I wouldn't be surprised if Vulcan or any Primarch for that matter, who Vanished reappeared to guide the Blood Angels to hope and glory. Captain Richards out.

P.S What do you mean when Antros said that Shepard's crew Squaundered it? and What ships came out? I am so visibly confused!

About the Council doing nothing with the Reaper wreck after ME1: Guess where the tech for Thanix weaponry comes from. Reverse engineered by the Turians from Sovereign's guns. Granted, Antros would not neccessarily know that but by the time of the Collector Base mission Shepard definitely does.
Also Antros makes stupendous leaps in logic when he thinks that galactic leaders just do everything for personal gain and that because of that they ignore something that threatens all their personal gains. That just makes no sense whatsoever. That together with the overall fact that he seriously argues that all of galactic politics can be explained by one single motivation makes his speech look like he copy pasted it from some conspiracy nutjobs handbook. I can imagine normal Imperials act like this due to millenia of propaganda but Astartes are supposed to be somewhat better informed and due to their status they enjoy more intellectual autonomy than other people in the IoM. Antros would still voice his disdain for democratic institutions and of course anything run by aliens but he should not be so blatantly ignorant of basic logic.
About aliens: Well the Angels should not sing kumbaya with them anytime soon, but they have to realise that when the war starts they too will have to make a hard choice. They will need to cooperate with aliens. At some point this will become inevitable, and it's not like they can just boss everyone around to get them to work with them smoothly that just would not work. And the Angels would not jeopardise their mission over their own pride (or well maybe they would, other Astartes chapters did so in canon). So did Horus and half the Primarchs now that I think about it. The road there should be bumpy though, you could show some more of Antros' inner conflicts about it.

I think i understand why the main reasons why the Blood Angels are as acting as an angry Black Templar on a good day.

Aside from losing the ancient sword, they're also living in a galaxy that is not theirs, cutting them off from their brothers and their home.

A galaxy where the imperium never exist thus humanity never knew of the Emperor, humans coexisting with Xenos, humanities leaders bend the knee to their new alien "masters", using alien technology in a daily basis, and what's worse is that humans have form relationships with aliens.

Yeah i can see why they don't have their usual nobility, humble and honorable behaviour around some of the natives.

Let me remind you that the Blood Angels are one of the most nicest space marine chapters in the imperium on par with the Salamanders. Seeing them doing the opposite means that you know something is wrong.

Fun fact: Blood Angels have a refined aesthetic sense just like their Primarch. Amongst other things, and have both an arboretum and art galleries within their fortress-monastery. They really do love the fine arts and crafts.
