Kiritsugu. Type-Moon Lore: Part 2

From TYPE-MOON Fes. - Kiritsugu & Irisviel afterlife conversation

Kiritsugu: "Thank you. But Iri, I found a new hope in a boy called Shirou."

Irisviel: "My, he sounds like a wonderful boy."

Kiritsugu: "Yeah. I was not able to be a hero of justice but definitely Shirou could achieve it."

Irisviel: "I'm looking forward to it. Thank you for your hard work, dear."

Fate/side material - Encyclopedia: Emiya Kiritsugu
He was actually pretty chivalrous when not working and died at the age of 34

Kiritsugu Emiya [Person's name]

Freelance magus.

He passed away at the age of 34.

For better or for worse, he was the one decided Shirou's way of life.

Kiritsugu was Shirou's foster father.

The Master of Saber during the previous Holy Grail War, and he emerged victorious at the end.

He favoured guns, and practiced a special magecraft called Innate Time Control.

His aptitude as a Master was unremarkable, but he was an adept when it came to "slaying the opposing magi".

In a way, he was the hitman of the Mages' Association. Because of this reputation, he earned the contract and favour of the Einzberns.

During the Holy Grail War, he deceived an opposing Master, held his lover as hostage, and detonated a building. He was a villain not unlike the young Kotomine. ... Really, Kotomine was also quite young at that time.

Maybe it was the fate of gentle man, Kiritsugu naturally had wife and lover.

When not working as a magus, he was extremely chivalrous. He told little Shirou that "boys who make a girl cry will end in ruins".

...Hmm? Was this guy really a feminist?

After the Holy Grail War, he passed away from the corruption of "All the World's Evil" due to Kotomine.

Kiritsugu. Type-Moon Lore : Part 1

Kiritsugu Emiya [Person's name]

The protagonist of Fate/Zero's prologue and epilogue, more or less.

He is the epitome of pragmatism, willing to do anything to achieve his goals. He is an idealist that dreams of world peace, but his method of attaining it is that of a cold and ruthless realist. He loves humanity, but he would not hesitate for a second to kill any single person. But though he lacks both hesitation and doubt, he cannot throw away his sadness.

Essentially, he's a magical 007, who treats sorcery as a mere tool and has no qualms using modern technology when it's more effective to do so. I really wanted to have him go on a rampage in a fully-loaded spy car, but I guess if you think about it Saber's V-Max sort of filled that role.

Though a young boy once looked up to him as a "superhero", he himself lost that admiration at an early stage, eventually coming to curse the very concept of justice itself. The only thing that kept him going was a desire that the sacrifices he had already made not be in vain. Thanks to this pessimistic attitude, his rank as a "superhero" is far inferior to the Heroic Spirit that shares his last name. Perhaps if he had a little more of the evil charisma of a last boss he would have been successful, but at the end of the day what he really wanted was just to pass away the days with his family in tranquil serenity.

Just like an eroge protagonist, he emitted a mysterious radiation that attracted women to him, but sadly everyone ensnared by it inevitably met a terrible end.

The only woman capable of smashing through this curse was the legendary Tiger of Fuyuki. Wow, Fuji-nee, you're so amazing!

If you count backwards from when he died, it turns out that his most active time on the battlefield was actually in his late teens. But hey, that's not so strange, you know.

Just look at Yagashira Dai or Sagara Sousuke. There are lots of heroes like that in this world.

Man I look forward to their reaction
and this series is one of those rare ones
that prove that the prequel can be better
Useless Guest chapter 7 . 7/16
Unlike most people, I don't want to see something like 'RuBy MuSt NoTiCe hEr NaIvItE' or 'MuSt UnDeRsTaNd ThE WoRlD iS NoT BlAcK aNd WhItE' or even Jaunne and Jeanne's name comparison. What I really want to see by the end of this, is just someone, one person, that agrees with Kiritsugu's methods and desires, or one person that actually agrees with Tokiyomi.

Really, I think that Tai would do it, because, you know, Tokiyomi's reasoning was pretty reasonable, the problem stems from the fact that most people are fixated on seeing things on the 'Kariya good Tokiyomi bad' style. He knew he had two genious daughters, he knew he had two genius daughers, he knew one of them (Sakura) would at best live a life of a political pawn that would serve for babymaking, so what did he do? Gave them to the Matous of course, a childless family that needs an magical heir? Oh surely, come on in, make sure my little girl is safe and sound, recieve a magical training and become someone great. He did NOT know about the rapey worm thing, if he did things would've played out pretty different. And was considered by, Aoki, Rin AND Sakura a great father and husband, and just wanted the happines of his family on the end, the problem is that most people judge him from the normal people perspective, when they should judge him from a magus perspective, and suddenly he becomes an extremely soft and nice person.

Kariya on the other hand... well, he is not a hero, he is a bad person making good actions. He doesn't want to save Sakura for the sake of it, he wants to do it because he wants to score points with Aoi, he wants to be considered their father, he wanted the whole war to kill Tokiyomi and replace him. When Aoki told him she was happy with Tokiyomi, when she told him she loved Tokiyomi, he ignored her, he prefered to believe his version of the story, she hated her life and was better with him, when she married Tokiyomi, even though she was happily married he continued with his feelings, butting himself into hers and her family's life. And when Aoi tells him what she does in the church, he kills her, because Aoi herself was an obstacle, because he refused to believe that she was happy, that she did not love him, she becomes an obstacle to the ideal Aoi he wishes and loves...

In the end, when one anylises things, Kariya does 'good' things with the worst intentions;
Tokiyomi does 'bad' things with the best intentions.

And really, if the Matous were not the Matous, and actually allowed Sakura to have a happy life with a propper magical training (like what happened in that time-line she was actually adopted by Luvia's family), instead of raped and abused, the story and tone of their actions would be extremely different.

On a side note about ma boi Gil:
Ohhh, you decided to put his seccond NP around for them to see, and even put in that he would only use it if he deemed people to be worth it, which really many people forget about it, y'know.

Most people forget that Ea is actually a part of the GoB NP, and not a separate thing, if this was the case then Enkidu (and Enki that he is stated to have in the GoB despite not being his Prototype self) would also be outside. But you my dear friend, you actually remembered that he has a NP outside of GoB, that he only allows the most worthy (and sometimes not even those people) to recieve the other end of.

Haha, I mean, surely you did not mistake Ea by Sha Naqba Imuru did you? Nah, that would never be the case, would it? I mean, surely no one would forget about the fact that Gil is Omniscient, would they? Haha, because you know, if we are just naming Gil's strongest NPs we have to throw Merodratch around, and a bunch of other A NPs he has in the Gate, surely you recognize that all he has on the GoB can actually be sumrized in that single NP right?

And surely D will soon tell them that Berserker would wave died when Gil shot those 32 NPs, as we know by the Novel, and when Tokiyomi actually used the Command Spell he actually made Gil give up his win, and that Gil is only being an ashole because of the state of humanity and that he actually is an extremelly good person as we can see in Babylonia, that ruled for 116 years, you surely did not forget to have D tell everyone this? Because, y'know, if you made the effort to have dialogues with D answering questions of the characters that were answered the exact next F/Z dialogue, you surely did not forget to have D give the actually important information, right? I mean, you have time to describe girls getting mad about some battle jesting that is in complete good will and completely forget that obviously the fact that the KING of knights is a 15 year-old girl doesn't make sense because you know... KING NOT QUEEN, gender roles, I mean, there would have been none of that if it was, let's suppose, Boudica the QUEEN of victory had been in her place.

And please, I know you're making them watch in the wrong order (the official order, confirmed by litterally everyone, Nasu and Uboruchi (Writter of F/Z) included, is F/SN(3 routes) F/Z Everything else), but please, when you are adapting the Stay Night, take it from the Novel (even if you want to take Shirou's monologues away and just put it actions, dialogue and active thought), really, just... for the sake of the lore and the quality.

And if you're going to adapt something, make something like the Excalibur scene not repeat Seiba shooting her blast three times, or crop out the Waver and Iri dialogue (In the Novel that was described by narration, because EVERYONE understood the meaning of the dreams contained within the blast, and did not need the Iri exposition) seeing as it would make sense, you went out of your way to make BERSERKER'S SHROUD have an effect on them, you can surely add in the fact that Warriors like them understand the meaning on that blast. Or idk, add in the cut Enkidu flashbacks, or the Gil and Grail scene that was also cut when making the anime.

One last thing:
"So killing children is one of them?"
"The worst kind of heretical magus would,"
Sorry to inform you, but really, any magus would do it , teacher and studen, parent and child, siblings, in the world of magi everyone is ready to fight to death or kill a child as easily as breathing, the important thing is to prolongate the bloodline and reach the root. Hell, even the 'nice' magi, Flat Escardos, El-Melloi II, Aozaki Aoko and Touko are ready to kill some people and do some shady shit, some of them DO some shady shit, Touko tried to kill her sister and was ready to kill (as she did do in that game) anyone that got in her way, for Flat you just need to look to Strange Fake, and El-Melloi II in the actual Apocrypha Novel was one of the three people that organized the red team to absolutely obliterate the Yggdmilenia, for the sake of the Clocktower pride, Aoko herself actually managed to get herself a one-week house arrest for maiming a student on her school with sheer physical aggresion.
In other words, no, the most heretical of magi wouldn't kill a child, they would do far, far worse, killing a child is just another monday for a magus, even the nice ones.

(and as a side note: Stop making characters simply hate on Kayneth for the sake of it, he was acting smart right there, Yang would litterally try to kill anyone who slightly insulted her pride as much as they did Kayneth, and there should be at least someone who can see that in the whole cast.)

Also the why she lied to ironwood is because of lionheat’s betrayal. She needed to learn about James if he is trustworthy, I mean try and rewatch vol7 ep1 again general Ironwood was not in his mental state and his very tired, do you really want to see him in mental breakdown?

To Shiroyasha Rises
Well To me she had almost grown into great leader since vol 4-7. She’s optimistic yes but she is not naive, ruby has maintained a pure heart through every terrible thing that happened in Beacon. She’s selfless to a fault, she is a perfect example of what it meant to be a huntress.

Can’t wait to hear their reactions to Jeanne D’Arc, especially Jaune’s. WHAT! O_O relation of yours mr. Arc?
Shiroyasha Rises chapter 5 . 7/10
It's nice to see how D has the no nonsense on the ridiculous idealism and naivety that Ruby has, I know it's a thing with her, but the girl really needs to learn the cruelty of people and the sacrifices they make to fulfill their desires.

Heck considering what happened in Vol 7 the girl has quite the nerve to be all idealistic and hopeful when she just decided to lie to Ironwood and I really could not sympathize with the girl when Salem made her cry when she told her mother saying the same crap that Ruby said to the immortal witch.

I’ve been reading this story and I have to say I really enjoyed it, I’m hoping for you to update this story more often. Also can you do this one idea of mine called “RWBY reacts to RWBY: The Storm of KEPL?” It would be interesting and I want to see how ruby, Yang, and tai reacts that they have a boyfriend or a lover.
