Reading fiction is like watching a play or movie, one should suspend the sense of reality and just go with it. Would the Harry Potter series be such a success if readers could not get over the existence of wizardry in the book? Your story was great even though Witness Protection doesn't work that way. Who cares? It's your story, written your way.

I always love rereading your stories... even if with that one I was shivering and freaking out with the beginning! hahah When Sharon and Andy met again, oh my heart... this is just how it should have been, well actually this is how it really went in my mind! Love it!

You should look this back over; you're missing a bunch of words in the beginning and it would read better if you put them back in. Also, being American, the kids call Sharon "Mom" not "Mum".

Fundamentally, Witness Protection doesn't operate this way; it would be offered to Sharon, not forced on her, and Andy would have been given the option to go with her. They don't yank people away from their spouses without a goodbye. So the basic premise of your story doesn't work - Andy and the kids never would have been put into this situation to begin with.
