The practical jokes and bad accents are hilarious. They mean Chuck has a more important role than in the van. Drop him into an area, and he can be the crazy distraction. It may only be funny to the people outside the mission (like the readers), but for other agents, it perfect for the Magnet.

grrr Bryce Larkin. Zombies cause all sorts of problems, exactly as the story demands. This time. He doesn't have to be there and he's still a problem.

Very interesting chapter. So will this world wide removal take care of Volkoff too?

Ooooo. Great reveal from the shadows.

Before that, ignoring the fact that the info was leaked to the Ring anyway, it was good seeing immediate action for maintaining secrecy and Beckman knowing what was really going happened in Chuck vs the Colonel.

This was an enjoyable chapter to the story as we can start to see the turning point. I love that Chuck's values are his North Star that doesn't change and how it contrasts with who Walt it. It seems like it will be because of Chuck's moral clarity that will be what saves the day and not his abilities with the Intersect. It's too bad that there is not a capacity for Walt to change, that who he is appears to be static.

Chuck obviously has an idea on how to fix all of these people. And Walt, hopefully we say goodbye to him.

It was really fun and nicely written. Now it's too dark for me at this point in my life and I'm giving up. Thank you.

A strange but hopeful chapter. Sounds to me as if Walt is not really their friend.

A really hilarious chapter. I particularly had to enjoy Casey's gibe about Bryce vis a vis both Sarah and Chuck..

Getting even better. But I'll have to assume that after the earlier chapter, Roan does not have Chuck's best interests at heart.

I've come back to this great story after 6 months in the wilderness following family tragedy. Trying to put my life back together and back to some sort of normality. A really good chapter, but I feel very sorry for Chuck having the dreaded Bryce in his head, so to speak and in such an unfortunate way.

A very intriguing beginning! You did a good job of capturing the characters. I'm hooked so far!

Considering how "in the middle of it all" I think we are, I'm surprised that there are only 4 chapters left. I want to mention only one thing that I'm not really sure about in this chapter. Ellie. Her way to obtain information from Devon sounds slightly out of character for me. I mean, she's the woman with looks that could kill. I can't really picture her physically threatening Devon when all she would need to do wast to look at him angrily for him to spill the beans. Other than that, everything's good.
