Oh, I most definitely want to see how this pans out. Sirius would have his trial, maybe? Maybe not, Wizards would care more about James and Lily than 13 dead muggles, but then again, betrayal is not the same offense as murder.

Harry would be sneakier, with a rat to advise him throughout childhood. Would Peter go out scavenging for newspapers to keep Harry in the know? Would he have to scavenge for food for Harry, if Petunia followed the same pattern?

Would Peter reveal what had happened to Harry, and his role? If not, what would happen when Harry found out?

So many questions!

Ok that is amazing I have never seen a story were peter tried to make up for what he did. I have so many questions lol like did Sirius end up in Azkaban anyway even though he didn’t attempt to kill peter and how. And if peter ever told Harry the real reason his parents died . I hope one day u continue this story

This is really neat! It's nice to see a version of Pettigrew that... well, isn't a good man, but really did care for his best friend's son after a fashion.

I kind of wonder what happened to Sirius, though - with no standoff with Pettigrew, no finger blown off and no apparent murder of Pettigrew and a dozen bystanders, did he go to Azkaban? If not, what happened to him with regards to Harry?

Please expand this story it's very enjoyable and entertaining.
