it was a lazy move on your part, Sao comprising 10,000 players (or even more if you decide to increase the number of players?), enough to exploit different characters without Kirito taking all the spotlight.

and why did you replace Klein too? did you kill him off like for Kirito?

this chapter was let's say pretty average I must say, Kirito was a generic Mc, Naruto was far too modeled on him as if Naruto became his clone in some way.

you could have introduced Kirito but without focusing on him, apart from time to time, there are 10,000 players you know. I don't understand why or even the interest besides of having killed him off.

but I sincerely hope that Kirito's death isn't a half-hearted and lame excuse for Naruto to steal his harem from him.

not much to say about this first chapter itself, apart you have switched Kirito and Klein with Naruto and an oc, too copy-paste on the canon for it to be interesting.
in less good, just like Kirito, Naruto is much more focused on the idea of farming and completing the first floor than anything else.

this is only the first chapter but it is average, extremely average.
you just switched an Kirito op to an even more Naruto op. it's as if Kirito before Sao had become both champion of Kendo and Archery! as in the Prince Of Swords where Kirito never gave up kendo and became champion!

dark past? no childhood friend? his mother who pushes him to play only to have small children? this must be the most ridiculous reason I have ever read.
everything leads me to believe that Naruto is only an ersatz of Kirito and gets Kirito harem later.
