I'm expecting this story to go in a dark turn, where Mirio didn't know that Midoriya was quirkless and thought he had a strong quirk that could defend him from her punch. In reality, she just sucker punched into oblivion and probably physically crippled him for a while. She is terrified of this and chooses to never use the power she was bestowed by All Might in fear of hurting anyone else. But, this is where I think the story is heading and I don't make these sooooo... my word is as good as squat.
