I had Hopes that since your first two chapters where very high quality that you wouldn't fall into the stupid extreme mistake that most authors do when they write worm fanfiction. But it would seem that I was in fact incorrect.
Why did you nerf Taylor by giving her the weakness Arima has?
What was your thought process there?
Arima himself is not a big deal in worm, he would get annihilated.
And yet even knowing that you felt that giving her RC cells without the extreme aging weakness was necessary?
You understand that means that by the time Taylor is 15 she will be out of her prime already?
Why? What is the point? There are people that can erase matter and launch buildings around in worm, why exactly did you feel the need to give her an insane, extreme weakness that limits her potential so much that she might as well kill herself by 2012 since she isint going to be stronger than at that time ever.
The limit on Taylor's power in here is so insane that you really should just rewrite from here and erase said weakness, because all power she gains beyond chapter 3 means nothing, it's all fluff.
It's as if someone wrote a character that doesnt have legs but can kick someone in the face. It's an oxymoron.

I really doubt Grue would stay, Regent too. In canon the rise of the Undersiders was gradual, so Grue made one compromise after another and stayed. Here they go from Cops and Robbers to The Nine in little to no time, and this kind of heat is not something Grue ever wanted. Regent came to the bay to get away and hide from his dad. After using his full power in public he probably wouldn't stay in the bay, especially when his team got so much attention.

I cant think of a single reason why these 2 would stay, especially Regent.

hmm, I am enjoying the story so far but I don't know how to feel about this chapter. You have talked about Taylor learning to keep her facial expressions as neutral as possible but you had Sofia instantly pick her out anyway, what is the difference in expression between looking and Looking? how does she notice the "glazed over expression in her eyes?" are you saying she is lost in thought? how can Sofia tell the difference between Taylor being lost in thought because she is a tinker and lost in thought because she is wondering who the random girl is and why she is over her friends house when she wanted something important to say? you could say its because she knows Armsmaster and Kid Win but she has only just met Taylor and Taylor may just look like that when she sees surprised with other people. I just feel there is a lot of hyper specific and unsubstantial cues and evidence that Sofia is somehow picking up without a Thinker power, if it was Tattletale figuring this out it would make sense but Sofia? Hmm its a stretch.

With Taylor being, as far as I can tell, some sort of amped up quinx, plus all the training she went through, and add in the fact that Sophia was acting with all the forethought of a rabid dog, I'm not surprised the fight went the way it did. Its going to be interesting, reading the conversation to come. There's been plenty of hurt already, so I hope we get see some of the comfort part of the hurt/comfort category.
