Beautiful writing! The way you use language has the effect that it doesn't feel 'smutty' in the least, (or at least not to me) but artful instead (if you know what I mean). I love the exchange between his thoughts - more poetic and archaic, and when he speaks - and then sometimes more 'modernish'. Shouldn't have started with the companion piece perhaps, but well - this really intrigues me to check out the main story now :) Thanks for sharing this!

I was grinning from ear to ear when I saw the pairing. I just adore these two. I adore how you write them. Their dynamics appeal to me so very much. I loved when she carried her own things and the reason why. Glorfindel loves her so deeply. He's like a moon caught in her orbit. And his yearning for her is simply beautiful.
