I truly do hope you decide to continue with this fic. It's a great one! Pretty novel idea as well. I know you've thrown in a few hints of Jaune possibly going back to Remnant and I fully support you if you do decide to head in that direction. I also find it pretty refreshing to see that you haven't made Jaune out to be a combat-focused alchemist, instead going to the medical route. So far the story has been great! I do hope you'd update though, it's been a few months compared to your earlier speed in updating. It may help for you to spend a bit longer in between each chapter before uploading since it'd give you time for quality as well as keeping your inspiration steady. Hope you're doing well with the coronavirus and 2020 shit happening, stay safe! Looking forward to the next chapter!

I’m being studying chimera alchemist more specifically using salamanders mix with other animal.
While ed and al searching way to restore their bodies like finding the philosopher's stone
It is my hope to use reptiles regenerate lost parts to my advantage.
However is only possible with ed situation to restore his arm and leg while al have no body to begin with
In al case I decide to study Soul Transmutation

I like how jaune mistook his circle-less alchemy as semblance (I wonder he mistook his circle-less alchemy similar to weiss glyph) and then jaune accidently using his aura to scan a person body like how shirou use tracing from fate stay night. If jaune learn the Alkahestry from xing then jaune can apply to his aura even better but I think is better to learn it near the end and the sequel.

So jaune aura can heal himself and other people and scan a person health. The only thing jaune need to discover how to use his aura is Defense, Offense, Unlock Aura, Extrasensory perception (maybe that should cross out because the scene with Izumi scan health), Climate protection.

After mention DivineWhiskey and scar, it got me thinking will jaune aura protect him from being Deconstruction from scar because unless scar can understand how aura work he cannot damage jaune body

Since he not a combat-focused Alchemist will he learn other things like dagger from hughes and gun from hawkey and hand to hand from izumi and later Fu from xing.
I do agree none combat-focused Alchemist at the beginning but what about during the middle of the story and sequel because I feel jaune should be combat-focused Alchemist when the time jaune face against father and remnants.

So Jim Sherman is still alive and might see him in the sequel. Make sure tell us why he hasn’t return to his circle to return home.

You are right about the dust, I forget that rule about dust won’t work if they are outside of remnant area and being another world count as well. Which mean any electronic device jaune have liked his scroll is dead.

What about glyph can jim note and alchemist use the symbol as a substitute for transmute circle? Create a different form of alchemist.

still I wonder if jim note have something else instead of dust and glyph like learning remnant technology like making a tv or floating ship or computer or micro chip or x-ray so on.

I don’t like the idea of jaune aura and semblance being reduced but what you say does make sense since different world apply a different way different energy flow differently.

Regarding the Sequel:

I guess that how you see it, to me having ed arm return while keeping his metal leg seem better to me. Having his arm back mean he reach his goal while keeping his metal leg a remainder of his past. So to me jaune should have one arm back as a symbol of reaching his goal while keeping one metal arm as a remainder of his past.
Sorry I can’t see how jaune is going to kill salem outright and such a short time. The way I see it will take jaune years to achieve that and I doubt he can do this by himself. He would need help like rwby, npr, ozpan group.
it will feel cheap if salem were to be beat that easily

I have this idea how jaune can use his bone more combat use.
Make a armor/suit like ironman nano suit like the movie avenger end game and infinity except made of bone instead of nano
How he makes the armor move like ironman is the Blood Rune, also known as a Blood Seal like Al except instead using his soul into the bones armor jaune use his aura to coating around the armor and the blood seal to make the armor move. Jaune soul is still in his body while his aura can connect the armor becoming his extra limbs and eyes and if jaune can learn to extant his aura it can also become remote control armor. The aura can become the link between blood seal and jaune soul without taking out the soul

However the best thing about his bone armor is the ability to transmute his armor like how Ed transmutes his automail arm to have a blade. Jaune can transmute his bone armor to have two more arms or make a kangaroo bone legs to run faster or make a bat wings but jaune have to use his cloths or coat to make him fly.
Of course jaune have to give up some of his armor to make them until he return them back

I can definitely see jaune joining Mustang’s plan to become fuher. Also I wonder with mother hen jaune if he will be a parental figure to Ed and Al
