Great job on the chapter! Interesting choice to use Swampfire. Don't get me wrong, I love Swampfire, but I thought you where going to use Heatblast. Also, try not to underpower the alien forms. I know it may seem difficult to balance the story but don't be afraid to take risks. If somebody is powerful, then make them powerful.

So The Krakken (Ben 10) and The Gobblewonker (Gravity Falls) got married and have kids lol?

This is was lot of potential!
though the criticism i have with this fic is with the battle between Diamondhead and the gnomes, i know dipper is not that much of a fighter but i refuse to believe the gnomes would have won, a 10 year old diamondhead is sturdy enough to resist a face slam in the ground by Vilgax, so a 12 year old one should be a little harder to put down.
also aside from that battle, the outcome is still the same, in a fic, you must make something different, otherwise, there is nothing interesting that would make the reader to come back for more, you know what im sayin ?

Great first chapter.

I think it is a good with reasonable outcomes given the circumstances. As mentioned in the other review Dipper is certainly more curious than Ben, but he is also a lot more cautious than him too. So naturally when met with two curiosities he would start with the safer on first, not to mention "Norman" would have derailed any plans to study the watch he had at the time.

You can only assume Ford was in bed with aliens a lot more in this timeline given he seems to meet more than the dead ones in the crater.

I just hope you don't fall into the dual traps of completely rewriting everything/rewriting nothing. There is a tough balance between changing things in line with the new element introduced so it has an impact and letting it run roughshod over everything.
