"Oh, there's the second version of our son, come along then." But it for sure is a difficult thing to write, so idk. |

Harry finally let out some pent-up feeling of guilt and of unworthiness that he feels are true but are not. And James has made a step to tell him that, before Harry even had to say it first. Really think you have hit the nail on the head with describing and portraying how much Harry is internally struggling and, during a moment of weakness (sickness) a little bit of that came trickling out enough for James to see.
