Im glad i found this

This.. was amazing, the story telling aspect was one of the best I've seen in this site in regards to DBZ stories. There were some inconsistencies and inaccuracies and even some head canon involved, the scenario itself coming together in a somewhat similar manner to Z all the way up to the namek saga with how different the characters were is unlikely, king vegeta being gokus father felt like an m night shyamalan plot twist and was unneeded in my opinion, but all of it paved way to something refreshing even though the fanfiction itself was written more than ten years ago. The character developement was on point and I made sure to review every chapter possible just so this piece of work could reach the 200 review benchmark it deserves. And I'm glad I found this before it got pushed back by the newer more repetitive fanfictions I see these days. You were creative to the end and tried to differentiate from Z at every given arc to add something new to the mix, it improved the quality to a point where I could forget what I nit picked and instead enjoy the entire fanfiction. You probably won't see this review or any review I write because the fanfiction was written more than a decade ago, but I'd like to get my thoughts out in review form regardless. I have nothing much to add so I guess this will be the last one I'll write. Thank you for writing this fanfiction and keeping it up for so long, I enjoyed it a lot.

One more chapter left, I'll admit I never expected to finish this so soon, I guess the unique writing managed to pull me in, and for that I applaud you, regardless of whether or not you considered deleting this.

The fight between the saiyan who started off with a powerlevel of two and a being of legend couldn't have gone any better. Your writing style did improve the further I went into the fanfic. And It holds well even in today's standards compared to some other works I've read, I also liked how dai kaioshin ended up being a bigger threat than one might think, the following chapters might have been spoiled by the stories description but that doesn't mean I'll enjoy this any less.

Three more chapters to go, I guess I am approaching the finale of this story. Just from the laid out foundation and the prior events to this arc I can already tell it's going to be great.

That was very well written, the fight between goku and Majin buu was quite the read.

Fat Buu was created when Majin buu absorbed the dai kaioshin into his being, him assuming his pudgy form does not add up when the dai kaioshin is still outside his body. And how exactly did videl learn about babidi? The because-plot moments do take a bit away from the overall story.

I've noticed a chapter or two ago that it was mentioned that goku possessed a pure heart, I can see how this might make sense for the original dragon ball, but this goku has Infact killed people, sure he is still of good nature but killing in general puts a person away from that 100% purity mark. And he already has a mental manifestation of his darkness.

My guess for the next opponent is dabura, but I guess it could easily be another fighter.

Looks like this is where the story wraps up, i wonder how goku is going to overcome this..

I've noticed a trend of people trying to self destruct as a last ditch effort, though it seems it doesn't always work. Dabura? From what I've seen in the original series he was around the level of cell. He might give goku a challenge at least.

It looks like goku is hiding his real power from the kaioshins, I wonder how long this facade will keep up.

It's kind of depressing to see how saiyan hunter ended up being reminiscent to a saiyan when his obsession to kill is taken into question.

I wonder if goku is aware of shin trying to bend the tournament fights to how he wants it to go. This chapter gave some neccesary foundation for the coming fights.

And so nostalgia strikes again, a few things about Morai remind me of Giran from the first series. This tournament is certainly coming together well.
