This is a nicely written fanfic over here! It's actually interesting to see this part of Esdeath just clueless or helpless on something like this, that lack of an important parental figure that always tenders you and gives you a great sense of care and security other than her father. I've always felt as though both the manga and anime kind of just glossed over that subject which makes me kind of sad since it would've been an interesting conflict for a character so OP. Anyways, Keep up the good work!
