Forgiveness requires repentance, Not seeing that in Susan. This doesn't work for me.

Clio1792 chapter 1 . 3/14
This was fabulously done-a bitter, older, Susan who remembered her affair with Caspian; a truly wicked and unforgiving husband; and an interesting, complex critique of the world C.S. Lewis depicted when he criticized Susan for her interest in being a sexual woman.

I often wonder whether C.S. Lewis might have rethought his view of Susan if he'd written the Narnia novels after his marriage to Joy Davidson-but it is extremely satisfying to read well-written fiction that imagines Susan as a feminist heroine, if an ambivalent one.

Thanks, as always, to this wonderful author for sharing her imagination with readers.
