Aaaah, that beautiful moment when you find a fic with you parental pairing, reading chapter 1 and having your interest piqued already, then going through the middle parts, crying and laughing on the way, then reaching the climax and attaining the coveted emotion of *internal gross sobbing*, then having everything wrapped up in a hopeful morning ray in the epilogue. Truly one of the best ways I enjoy my parental stories. Hehe :D

You have a point about it not being realistic for Ed to call Roy Dad though I wish you did write that or at least Ed’s own equivalent to Dad since the word is more of an insult to Ed.
