| christev chapter 1 . 4/30 Hi! Even though I truly love all of your writing, this is the fic has stuck with me as the most memorable. Years and years since I first read it, that image of Snape, Regulus, and Yaxley in a field of flowers on an album cover is still so strong in my mind, matched with the guilt and mortification Hermione feels when she realizes how important his music is to Severus are two such durable images. I'd forgotten that you included songs that Severus played, but those were well chosen, and add to the mood of the fic perfectly. And the links still work - yay! Over the years I've recommended this to lots of people! Once again, you so beautifully describe emotion, and the complexities of whether people fall in love, how they interact with each other. Just before this, I read Love, Carefully Folded, which was another where you so eloquently described the unexpected ways hearts can be moved. Both stories made me cry - but for different reasons. And both stories, originally written - what, 10 years ago? - stand the test of time so very well. 3 |

This is such a lovely story—sweet and funny, snarky and fluffy. I love plucky Hermione who learns at least as much about herself when she sets out to draw war weary (so she thinks) Snape. |
