Hey, I binged Nouvelle overnight, unable to put it down even though the canon divergence made me wary, it was beautifully done! I love how Erina’s and Soma’s troubles feel very realistic, that while they are tense either with each other or due to others they also have their support and their tender moments. Oh and those borderline steamy ones! This fic is quite lovely, and the idea of rival academies is something I wished the creative team in the manga attempted, the potential for a longer developed story line was there. It’s amazing what you’re doing here, the effort and skill to craft such a lovely thing. I keep calling this fic series lovely, but it’s true! Thank you so so so much for this. The conflicts, the challenges, the pathways the characters take, the fact that you don’t let some of the minor characters fall to the wayside, keeping up with details and the student body culture etc. Fantastic! One gripe is the school from Africa Africa is a continent... while the rest of the schools are from specific countries. Otherwise, I’ll reiterate the above, this is fucking great. Thank you thank you thank you!

AHHHH SOO GOOOODDD! I just finished Nouvelle and I was so sad that it ended cause it was so well written. Then I saw that you started a continuation and I was SO HAPPY! Your writing is probably the best I've seen on fan fiction, and I can't wait to see what else you have in store! I'm looking forward to your next chapter!

7. “You want to scold and punish her, fine, just remember to raise her first.” OOOOOOFFFF GONNA NEED SOME ICE FOR THAT BURN
8. Omg, I didn’t even notice the whole insanely improper second seat paired with a formal first seat until you pointed it out. I love that parallel!

I don't know if I've said this before, but I seriously wish this fic was canon because it's definitely much more fulfilling than what we got post-Azami arc in the actual series but alas, I will continue to content myself with indulging myself in this (extremely well-thought out) world you have created! Love it and can't wait for the next chapter!

I seriously have no words to say hahah. Nouvelle and Classique are very well written. I immediately started reading Classique after reading Nouvelle. One of the best fanfics I've read.

I seriously wish that the manga was similar to your story. I still like SnS but was disappointed at the ending. After the Central arc, the manga wasn't as good as it was when it started. So I'm really happy and really amazed at what you wrote. Keep it up. I'll be waiting for more updated to come.

Hey! I find your story really engaging so far, and this chapter in particular was excellent! I love how you portray all of the adults. I wish we'd gotten more scenes with Mana, Soe, and Leonora in the series, so reading about them in this fic is a treat. I think you've written Mana very realistically; she isn't a good parent at all, but it's clear that she doesn't hate Erina. The tension between Mana and Leonora and Soe at the beginning of the family meeting scene just felt so real, and Leonora's shade was gold.

I also really like how you're writing Souma as a less dense person, and a really attentive boyfriend, while staying true to his character. He understands the pressure that Erina is under and is willing to do anything to support her, even stand up to her very intimidating mother. It's too lovely for words. Anyway, thank you for writing such an amazing fic, and I look forward to seeing what happens in future chapters!

This does feel like something different from Nouvelle: the anxiety, emotional complexity and uncertainty makes this feel like a glimpse into the mind of Nakiri Erina. It's hard to write tension this well.

And I got a good chuckle out of Alice's "wait, who's died?" reaction.

I did imagine the new members raising their fist and the encouraging, yet pitiful claps from the students.

I'm really enjoying the story. Will Soma call his father to let him know about everything? I can't wait! And i really wanted to Megumi get a seat in the Elite 10. I cried when she didn't, hahah. But i suspect it's a fraud or something like that. And the slowly Soma/Erina's relationship building it's sooo beautiful. I'll be waiting for more of those moments!

As someone who has been following you ever since the first chapter of Nouvelle, I must say that your writing has grown and evolved into a spectacular level that is far and beyond the early chapters of Nouvelle. I consider Nouvelle to be the best Shokugeki fanfic of all time, and one of my favourite fanfics in general, period. With that being said, Classique has blown any of my expectations out of the water so far.

The setting that you have built up in this story, alongside the witty and humorous character interactions, as well as the usage of certain characters that were, to put it lightly, not well received in the Shokugeki fandom is just so intriguing and on point that I certainly cannot wait to see how this story unfolds. 4 chapters in and I find myself checking back every single day to see if you have updated yet another fantastic chapter for us. Keep up the amazing work, Zancrow! Please give us more epic Shokugekis and more Sorina moments! XP

I'm caught up with the anime but only know somethings about the Manga, but Mana is really scary and smart too. She literally knew Soma was there and like a shark hovering for her prey literally allowed Erina to think she got away with it before she pounced! I still think she likes Soma for her daughter otherwise he would already be dead!

On another note, wow, so many new characters, that's like a lot! Nene it's kind of weird she doesn't really give me a 1st seat vibe at all, hopefully she pulls her weight got to save the school and all. I would love for Erina and Soma to be a 1st and second seat eventually, but I definitely don't want her as a director like the anime that was such a cop out. God, Erina had to deal with her mom and now her dad, in one day, how many shocks can this girl take? Can't wait for more, good job.
