Even though there's a lot going on in his head, I'm glad Bucky has a few quiet moments too. You did a great job juxtaposing that turmoil with him getting out onto the roof to have space to think. Him remembering Steve and the stars, awhhhh, the feels, and throwing in a few questions about the Black Widow was neat too ;) Great chapter and expansion to the story!

Nice! I like these shorts where Bucky has time to stop and pull up some old dusty memories, where we can see the gears turning. A nice change from him always ending in a fight.

I am so happy to see additions to this story! I love how Bucky is continuing to do his best despite everything else. You balance that well with him dealing with his past memories and everything that happened in the movie. Existential crisis for sure, and Fury showing up definitely throws a wrench into some things *loved that interaction by the way*. Also like where his head goes regarding the money. He can use it to buy simpler things for himself, but also to help other people. Just goes to show how far he's come. Also, the image of him in a comfy recliner with chocolate bars and a Tarzan book is a great one thank you for that ;)

I have a feeling Bucky's going to do a heckuva lot of good with that money.
I also hope he's going to do at least a few nice things for himself.

Would like to know more about Fury’s cousin. How involved was Fury in Bucky getting this place to stay and job? Did Fury’s cousin just happen to be at the right place at the right time to offer Bucky the deal? Or had Fury given his cousin some notice to look for Bucky?

So good to see Bucky seeing that a little bit of help might not be a bad thing. I don't trusty Fury since he clearly wants Bucky to help him out, but Bucky is strong and knows how to stand firm.
