If i was kagome i would've been angry that someone was sniffing around whats my, and angry that he didn't bother mentioning to his friends that he has a fiance.
But at the same time i'm not kagome in this story, i don't know what she been through but i would given him a chance to explain and listen to his excuse and tell him why i'm angry, hurt and disappointed in him and try to understand his feelings on the matter and talk about how they can improve their relationship.
But that just me

Holy... Crap on a Cracker... Kyoya is a dead man walking for the male members of the Taisho family ever hear about this. Well, hopefully Kyoya will get a decent eulogy at his funeral.

If I were Kagome... well, let's just say that Hell would look more like a kid's playground compared to what I had in store for Kyoya.

Anyway, this was a surprisingly good chapter! Despite Kyoya's one-mindedness.

Honestly, I hesitated to read this story because it almost sounded like it could be all puppy love and rose colored lenses, so I'm really glad that this story has awesome grit, hot scenes, and true character development, especially when it comes to Kagome and Kyouya's relationship. This particular scene was absolutely your best chapter. While Renge is one of my least favorite characters, I also liked the scenes between Kagome and Kyouya purely because it shows the depth of their relationship and just how important she is to him. This moment will definitely change his view on things, especially if there's the threat of Kagome ending their engagement and choosing Mori. It makes me curious about how Kyouya will treat/view his father from this point onward as well. Despite letting Renge continue her delusion because it had merit, at the core, it was his father's fault due to a business contract - Kyouya had simply agreed to make him happy. Please keep up the good work! I look forward to how the next chapter will go :)

Well I would consider to breaking it off. Mentioning it. See what Kyoya does. How he reacts. What his explanation is. We know Kyoya is sincerely sorry but Kagome doesn't. She's been hurt and emotions and logic don't go hand in hand. Even if Kyoya explains and she accepts his explanation, which isn't that great especially when feelings are involved, she's still going to feel hurt and angry. That doesn't just disappear because of an apology. That would cause doubt for me. He didn't even mention her to his friends. When someone else tried to claim her relationship as fiancee with him, he said nothing. That would make me question if he's actually emotionally invested or if, like Renge, it's all about gaining something. I would question if I could trust him now. Does he actually care? I deserve better. Why should I be with him if he's not as devoted to me? Does he think he can just do that? That I wouldn't find out? How did he expect that farce to end? How long would he have let it go on? What would have happened if Renge had wanted his attention outside of school? How would he have felt if she had let some other guy claim her as his fiancee? *CaughKogacough* I would alternate between angry and hurt. Would I forgive him? Depends on how much I felt for the guy and if I truly felt that it was as innocent as it could be. But I would be holding that anger for a long time, even after we made up. It's hard to let go of feelings. I may ignore it for the most part but you make me angry again and that buried anger is going to come out along with the new anger.

this Kagome seems a little sadistic (and maybe even a little petty) Kyoya will have to grovel will have to beg and prove that he needs her desperately.

Good luck for him... I expected better from him, but he instantly falls into “make daddy proud mode” as soon as his father commands. Kagome won’t stand such disloyalty. He needs to make a choice and stick to it. Can’t have both.
