Shoot, Valtor is with me there that Griffin shouldn’t complain about heels (how she does it is beyond me, I’m always tempted to throw mine off the balcony).

3 things from the following paragraphs: they’re so domestic and behave like an actual couple! Valtor falling asleep to Griffin’s breathing! I’m a puddle! The third thing, though, I neeeeeed to see them in formal wear. Gosh.

Okay, everything about Griffin’s neckline and the arm candy part. I’m amused and delighted but I also feel like sobbing? I’m confused, but I know I loved it!

“I don’t know why I hoped that us being married would make any difference when it came to his staring when the fact that his own wife standing right next to him never did,” HA! Idk, felt appropriate. Go, Griffin, at any rate.

I’m crying :( They don’t deserve any of the malice, my poor babies! I love how you describe Griffin, with her unapologetic sense of self that still can get shaken when met with judgment for that exact thing. And Valtor who’s had to get used to the scrutiny but still hasn’t grown indifferent to it, now feeling worse to subject Griffin to it, too. And wtf, how would Valtor not deserve the things he has? What difference does it make if he wasn’t born into it - that should make it even more impressive, what the heck, seriously. (Although, obviously, I’m sobbing bc he shouldn’t have needed to strive for those. Luckily he found Griffin.)

The above pretty much sums this up, really. This was so sssofffffffft while a little angsty - I was basically just crying for varying reasons throughout the entire fic XD I’m truly in awe that this came out of my tiny little prompt, I’m honored. I loved this a lot!
