Thanks for the explanation. It sound like the strange mix of a little modern with mostly old that is in Naruto. This helps a lot.

A little world building would really be appreciated. I am guessing this is modern times because of showers, toilets, and the "shop till we drop" comment, but otherwise it seems more feudal. I say that because of the multiple wives and the fact she had to marry him to protect her clan. Normally I would be glad you went straight to relationship things since I'm not a fan of really "slow burn" romance, but there really wasn't any set up at all other than Kagome being forced into the marriage because of Kikyo eloping. And since she eloped with Sesshomaru's brother one would think both families would be equally at fault. It would be very helpful if you would explain what kind of world and society this story takes place in. You said he flew her to his kingdom, so it must not be very far away from another kingdom or country. Is this in a differently divided Japan or another country? It's worse that she's stuck with a man with multiple wives if it's modern times and our current society where she should have been able to expect her husband to be as faithful to her as she has to be to him. So I do like this, it's just difficult to put the situation into perspective without any points of reference.
