That was sweet and tender, I like it. We need more DantexLady stories.
However, may I suggest you be a bit more descriptive? it would shine even more.
For example:
Sighing, Dante got up from his seat and walked towards her. "You're kinda freaking me out here. And I thought Nightmare from Mallet Island was scary". Dante chuckled at his own quip, and expected Lady to laugh along. She didn't.
Her skin was paler than usual with yellow patches over her cheeks, there was darkness under her eyes like she hadn't slept for three days, and they were glass-like, horrifyingly empty.
This wasn't the Lady he knew.
