Jack Frost09 chapter 13 . 7/18
Don't usually take the time to leave reviews but I'm really liking this story. I've gotten into SI stories lately some are really good but a lot are the same. This one seems fresh though. The first Rickon SI I've seen I think set at an interesting point it the story. Just (and this is just a suggestion mind you) maybe have the insert take an L or two soon. Again I really like this story but I'm finding that SI stories where the insert just wins and wins are a turn off. Canon knowledge is a boon but I can't respect SI's where the butterfly effect doesn't make things interesting. Seeing how the character navigates and overcomes these unseen problems is, for me, half the fun of these types of stories. Other than that please keep up the good work!
Guest chapter 13 . 7/18
Lol! Did Rickon just say that he has a faceless man at his command and that he won't hesitate to use her to kill Cersei and is Daenerys so delusional that she thinks she can force Rickon to sail south?
What makes me even more shocked is that Daenerys is familiar with how dangerous wizards are and now she wants a wizard king to kneel down on her?
With this simple conversation, Rickon has just proved himself to be much more dangerous than Cersei.
The most incredible thing is that nobody seems to realize it.
Nobody seems to realize that Rickon has also deliberately pushed Daenerys to fight Cersei.
Varys and Tyrion should have brought this simple fact to Daner's attention.
Also how does Daenerys make sure Skinchangers can't catch a dragon?
I honestly still have the secret hope that Rickon will be able to take Viserion's body.
bob chapter 13 . 7/18
also bella are didn't you fucking forget that targ bitch is fucking insane?
bob chapter 13 . 7/18
bella swan can you stop acting cringy right now, its fucking annoying and the author can wright his story as any ways he wants.
Stargaryen chapter 12 . 7/18
Bah humbug thats what you say to naysayers. If I find an author does something I truly dislike I drop the story. If I dislike it because it is poorly written sometimes I let them know. People all are crazy on the internet. I personally love that Rickon's plan is to take on the White walkers while diverting Daenerys' attention south. Maybe once the battle for the living is done Rickon will be able to gather enough strength to keep the south at bay.
Guest chapter 13 . 7/18
Please don't make him kneel to her
LordVishnu chapter 13 . 7/19
Aw crap. I reached the end. Thought there was one more chapter left.
FallenStar39 chapter 13 . 7/19
Well, I guess this pretty well embodies the fact that intelligence is King in warfare, and with Bran&Rickon the North have it better than anyone. It's kind of interesting imagining what Tyrion must be thinking about attacking King's Landing too early, compared to what we know happens if she waits. Keep up the great work!
FaeGhostReader chapter 13 . 7/19
This is really good
J.Bean1 chapter 13 . 7/19
I have missed this story so thanks for updating!
sandmanwake chapter 13 . 7/19
Ghost and Nymeria are mated? All this time, we all thought they were siblings because Ghost was found near Nymeria's mom. In reality, they were cousins and Ghost's mom was some other she-wolf.
James317 chapter 4 . 7/19
“Respected battle commander”. They respect him because he’s Ned’s son. Certainly didn’t win any favors by letting the free folk in, and the people actually sworn to him killed him over it. He didn’t command any battles before then either, aside from a brief stint leading the archers on the wall. The first battle he was in charge in was an absolute disaster that would have been lost for sure if it weren’t for Sansa and the Vale.

It’s why I’ve always been so confused by people thinking Jon is a good commander. He’s never won a battle on his own merits, up until the Battle of the Bastards, in each battle he’s fought, someone’s had to bail him out. Not to mention his ridiculous plot armor. He’s a good guy, no two cents about it, but he’s basically Ned 2.0, and Ned dying was supposed to show the viewers that in the harsh world of Westeros, honor without cunning gets you killed. Jon has zero cunning, and twice the honor, but for some reason, that’s celebrated where every other character dies for those character traits.

This is just my own thing on Jon. I always felt that his character was a cop-out. He’s generic and basically like every other honorable Stark archetype, except he always gets bailed out where other Starks die. I was rooting for Baelish to win the throne honestly. Felt like the only character that deserved it. He played it straight start to end.
sesshyluhvr chapter 13 . 7/19
When Daenerys is being all- 'its my birthright to rule 7 kingdoms, no matter what they want just like my ancestors!' It makes it hard to like her, she had a whole Essos, ripe for the taking & is haranguing after Westeros like its candy...Targaryens came from Essos first, Daenerys, if you want to be technical.
