Good opening. And I like some of the ideas you mentioned with storm or celestial magic. But please don't overdo it. OP characters are all good and fun to read but too much power and the story becomes self-explanatory and boring. Other than that: I like the setting you are going for and love Ashes in the Sky so I'm interessted in what you are going to do with this story.

Interesting. Don't think Lighting Dragon Slayer might work, since Laxus is already one. Personally, I think a God Slayer will be more badass. In Canon, they are said to have more potential than Dragon Slayers, so it will be easy to buff them to oblivion.

For the element... I was thinking that a celestial body would be pretty cool. Like Sun God Slayer, or something edgy like that. Oh! And if you want to, you can also make his powers change with the time of day.

Kinda... like Escanor.

Anyway, how are you? I was reading Ashes in the Sky and was wondering if you were doing alright. You seemed stressed, honestly. Writing fanfictions is not an obligation, and its important to maintain good mental health to write well. Just saying.

Altogether, I'm hoping this one goes well. Fairy Tail isn't as big as a world as Pokemon, so might be easier? Don't know.

Intro gave me chills honestly, as much as I’ve seen intros like this. Personally love the idea of him using the power of the storm since it’s badass, and I honestly don’t think I’ve seen any other stories using it. Looking forward to the next chapter.
