Awwwwww! I loved that Hei was starting to grow on Kirihara! He’s still trying to “figure” Hei out, trying to catch him acting and all, but it isn’t going to happen because Hei’s the real deal! Hei talking to dolls is like snow white talking to animals :) He just has such an affinity for them. I hope Kirihara eventually comes over to team Hei...but I’m enjoying their journey so far!

I'm really liking how you are pacing the story. The dad is slowly evolving and changing his thinking. He's being pushed to challenge his thinking and it seems extremely human and realistic.

Ohohoho, wasn't expecting a story from Naoyasu's POV. I love getting stories from POVs that aren't as common. And I especially loved the little conversation Hei and he had at the restaurant where Hei asked Naoyasu why he joined the Syndicate, and Naoyasu confesses he doesn't know whether he still would have joined had he known their true intentions. I like how despite Naoyasu's hatred of contractors and his prejudice towards Hei (although- if you'd only seen his dossier and didn't even know he was technically human...can I blame him), he isn't a monster, and even he isn't comfortable outright saying that he'd knowingly abet genocide. But then again he didn't say he absolutely wouldn't.

And the little tease with Hei admitting he's not really a contractor, only to be interrupted! I hope Naoyasu gets the chance to find out what he meant...

Kirihara Naoyasu is a slow burn for trust. Hopefully he will see Hei for what he is and that is that he is a good man. Yes save the dolls!
