In general, you are getting close to the point that team RWBY would naturally reunite in canon. Will RWBY flight have the same opportunity? Where will they go from there? At the rate you are going, you might run out of material before volume 8 is released. If you already have a plot planned out beyond that, I am excited to discover where you are going with this.

Damn. I didn't think it would end like this for the OC I gave you. I was kind of hoping he'd confront Cinder for the murder of his sister. Love the Star Wars references in this chapter, but I can't figure out the part with Rick and Weiss fighting against those bandits was from. If he really is dead, might I suggest that when Weiss makes her escape, she grabs his weapons as a way to honor him? Maybe have her swap out the M203 for an under-barrel shotgun?

Also, with the black hood over Weiss's I get the feeling that when its removed she's going to be tied to a chair with her... assets bulging out because of some pervert bandit before she gets gagged or something like that. So, I got to ask... who's going to pilot the F-20 now?

I have heard that Rooster Teeth is supposed to release Volume 8 soon, but at the rate you are going this story will be past that point before long. How did a guy like Lionheart even become an Air Marshall if he is such a coward! Seriously, cowards don't belong on the battlefield even if he is retired! We all know who's to blame for sending all those people to their deaths, so why in the world does he not realize that it was Mercury who killed his granddaughter!

What did the coward use to fly anyway? Are we going to see any F2's, F4J's or F15J's of the JSDAF when the battle comes? So Raven's plane is what again? I thought in the first story it was a MIG-type. Oh I wish this chapter wasn't divided, but hey what can you do. Keep it up.

Two chapters in one week? That is awesome, and also a little scary because I was actually just thinking about this story. I saw a news article this week about an incident in Russia that was nearly the exact same thing that happened to Yang. Apparently, a Su-35 accidentally shot down a Su-30M during a training flight. Their guns were not supposed to be loaded, but somehow the Su-35 was carrying live rounds anyway.

As for this story, I'm thinking that it might be time for Qrow to quit drinking. Now Salem will know where to look for the Spring maiden, and he is out of his mind if he thinks going after Raven by themselves will do any good at all.

I've got a bad feeling about what is to come next. The Gurkhas, I didn't expect to see them show up.

Well that was ominous. With Tabey gone the entire situation on menagerie is one step closer to being completely fubar and I don't think that there is anything Blake can do about it. If Ilia was telling the truth about be being out of the loop, then Adam and the rest of the White Fang are likely to surprise everyone, including Sienna, in the worst possible way.

It would have been great if Weiss and Yang could see each other. I think they both would be better off if they could reconnect, even for a brief visit. I should be all excited about the F-23, but I'm still having trouble accepting the idea that Yang gets to fly it. Maybe this is your way of giving her a little positive reinforcement? Regardless, Tai was always going to win that battle.

I have a question will Ruby have something related to her silver eyes in the story or not?

This chapter reminds me of a TV show called Jag, in which one of the main characters is a navy pilot (and lawyer) whose father was MIA somewhere over Russia around the time of the Vietnam war. As it turned out, the father ended up stuck living behind the iron curtain for a number of years afterwards. The character in the TV show went looking for him, and eventually learned the truth. Could something similar be going on with Summer? I seriously doubt it, but it would bring her family some closure if they can find out what really happened to her without getting killing in the process.

At any rate, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and fervently hope that you continue sharing it with us.

Well that's just great. Neo made it out of Beacon after all. As if Ruby doesn't have enough to worry about. After what happened to Roman though, I'm confused as to why Neo would continue to associate with the White Fang. I would think that she would be more likely to massacre all of them if anything.

What is Blake supposed to do about any of this? Surely Ilia has an objective from the CIA, but since Blake has no knowledge of that, they might end up killing each other if these confrontations keep happening.

Not exactly what I was anticipating, but I can totally see Cinder in a Flanker. Armed with dust, that thing should be formidable indeed. Of course, if Amber's brother gets anywhere near her, I hope he gets to introduce her to his sidearms with extreme prejudice. I'm the meantime, I guess that Weiss just has to look on the bright side, it could be worse. Does Salem suspect that Lionheart is misleading her? The dialogue implies that she doesn't, but that could just be misdirection on her part.

Hm. Another transitional chapter, but still interesting. In some ways, you are doing a better job of providing relevant background for the overall plot than rooster teeth ever did. What happened with Weiss was basically what I was expecting, I just didn't think it would happen until be after she rendezvoused with Blake and Sun. Does the Gambol Shroud actually have a back seat? I suppose it doesn't make any difference now but I am curious what is waiting for Weiss in Japan. A Typhoon is already top shelf all the way.
