An angsty fic with my favorite pair? You good sir, I'm in.

This, this is really good so far. As it currently stands the vibe I'm getting from your story is that it's a story about Shirou and Rin's journey through life. How she helps him to stay human if that makes any sense.

I also think that what you have is one of the most detailed, and accurate, descriptions of what it feels like when someone close to you passes away. That place in a person's life that they once occupied left empty.

Death really is something that modern culture, easpeacially western culture, tends to treat very lightly. We don't really think all that much about it and then it just sneaks up on us. Or, like what happened in this chapter, runs up and slaps you in the face.

I think that you have their reactions to what happened spot on.

Shirou and Rain are both taking this really hard and that's understandable. Shirou has his hero complex/survivors guilt to deal with, not to mention that Sakura was almost like a sister to him. While Rin actually was Sakura's sister and still wishes that things could have turned out differently between them.

And Shinji proves, once again, that he's Zouken's spawn and scum of the earth.

This is a wonderfully intimate look at the consequences of handwaving Sakura away in UBW. Shirou's anguish and emotional turnoil are so complex and real and human and it hurts. It hurts, man. Props to you for being able to convince me that this is a scenario that could happen, that is happening in my head in vivid and visceral detail. I hope you continue to update this and I am looking forward to so much more.

Really enjoyed reading this, the emotions are portrayed incredibly well. Also thought the scene between Rin and Shirou was heart warming.

I love this chapter, and I'm glad you are continuing the story. You are doing a good job with showing Shirou in his grief-He's grieving, but in a way thst is characteristic of shirou's personality, if that makes sense.

To plainly say I like it probably belittling the authors’ efforts in composing this arc, it’s well written, this chapter did take my heart. I like how Fuji-nee was brought in, her okay to cry, and Shirou’s physical and emotion distress said all, they truely love Sakura. I like Rin’s subtly strong held. I was most taken by Shirou’s last view don’t follow me some hero I am, this is brutal felt like he would head to Archer’s sanctuary. Thanks for update, I genuinely like it.

Oh my goodness! This was a great Chapter and is shaping up to be such a great story. I think Shirou's actions here are right on point for his character and I loved the bit about Fujimura crying. She loved Sakura too. Can't wait for more!

Good to see an update. I continue to enjoy this depiction of Shirou and how much his psyche is shattered by the contradiction he knew nothing of. His trauma felt real. I also enjoyed Rin giving him a shoulder to cry on, something he so rarely has the opportunity to do.

Shinji revealed to Shirou that Sakura has a sister?!

Wow a good chapter from Shirou’s perspective, hope to see Rin’s position in next update especially being her stray sister. Maybe there is still a miracle turn for Sakura?! cryoutloud

Omg what a heavy chapter, poor Sakura, poor Rin poor Shirou. I hope after this arc Shirou isn’t heading to madness heroic utopia fate and Rin becoming an egocentric magus. Hope to see some justice for Sakura, Zoulken was such a revulsion creepy magus! Was rather disappointed in Shinji’s respond to Sakura tragic, but Shinji is Shinji can’t expect massive change from him.

I'm really glad to see this tackled. Sakura would not have a good ending in pretty much any of the other routes, but it's really rare for anyone to touch on that, and usually it's in a pretty vague way. A story about Sakura in UBW is a very depressing but needed to be told story.
