I know you want your brother Ace to be happy, so go talk to Roger because he let himself be killed and let Ace grow up alone; You need to know to confirm that he is a good man. Because if he did it because he had no choice, it means that he loves his son and Ace deserves to know the love of a father; then you as his brother will help him to reconcile.

I think you portray both the ASL and Roger well, they seem in character to me so far. I can't wait to see Roger attempting to win Ace over! It will be slow going, but a good first step was made by saving them. And since Luffy's also determined to see Ace and Roger reconciled... sorry, not sorry Ace, but you'll end up with a dad by blood some day even before you set sail. ;)

Roger you have to accept things have changed, if you want to protect your son you must regain your power as a pirate king; You can only protect him because you are not going to leave him is your son, you are going to act like Ace's father. Roger you need to find Shanks or Raeligh it is time for your crew to gather, you are going to regain your title as king of the pirates and you will shake with fear the navy and the government; Because it was his fault Rouge died.

Truly for such an upbeat and goofy manga there is a ton of angst and suffering boiling underneath if you pick at the scabs. Hard to remember all that when they are doing the chopstick dance though.

Looking forward to how you tackle epic stache man going forward. Will he set out with his son? The inheritor of his Will? Or lurk on Dawn Island to jump Garp for old times sake?
