Peanutsaber chapter 4 . 7/22
... fair enough
dragonngo chapter 3 . 7/22
Another possibility is that Shirou ended in cryosleep or time travelled in random but important years of Terra as well.
dragonngo chapter 4 . 7/22
Hm... can’t you use some plot point to extend Shirou’s lifespan aside from him being a servant or an ancient? Or have the story at one point reveal that he is either later on? I don’t know much about the Arknights world but I think the issue with the plot is the timeline regarding the canon characters and the likelihood that Shirou would be able to live to the year when the canon prologue would happen.
Peroroncino chapter 3 . 7/20
Pls update soon
Hero of Justice Roxas chapter 4 . 7/22
Well that's a bit of a bummer, but I understand

Patriot is not a standard to set for the lifespan of Ancients, Wendigos are known to have incredibly long lifespans compared to Ancients, no info on the lifespans of each sub race of ancients has been released, which is a real pain.

It's safe to assume that most of them have longer lifespans than humans at least, given their looks despite their age (I mean, Hellagur has 44 years of Combat Experience, and he only looks like a slightly older Geralt of Rivia lmao).

oh, and Patriot is more like over 200 years old, and a good estimate of his physical capabilities would put him on the level of servants easily (around C rank probably) and that's with Oripathy.

Incidentally, I wanted to point out that a Human cannot live in Arknights, mainly because any humans would die when exposed to Originium, like they wouldn't even get Oripathy, they'd outright die because of Originium infesting their blood, and because Originium is not a natural part of the human anatomy, unlike Ancients, Embolisms would start forming inside the body, which would lead to death due to multiple reasons.
(And No, Avalon would not really stop Originium from causing this, at best, Shirou would be stuck in continuous pain as his plot forms clots on the inside, while Avalon keeps him alive by dealing with that issue, and even then, it'll get overwhelmed pretty easily with the lack of Artoria's presence.)

So, having a human Shirou in Arknights is not really logical tbh, so you'd have to make him an Ancient, or a servant, since their bodies would be immune to Oripathy, but then you'd need a master/summoner.

Anyways, Good luck with your brainstorming, looking forward to the next chapter.

Have a Nice day and stay safe!

PS: I may or may not have a potential plot idea that might interest you so if you are indeed interested, do PM me ;) .

FabledLife chapter 2 . 7/16
Also, I almost forgot, but isn't the right term in the 3rd chapter suppose to be Magecraft and not Magic as Magic is a miracle that cannot be replicated whatsoever which Shirou should have learned from Rin (and possibly Luvia) as she is his teacher.
Anything else you would like ask about the Type-moon Magecraft and info, I'll try to help as best as I can although I can't PM you...
FabledLife chapter 3 . 7/16
Actually, in the first chapter, wouldn't Kanshou and Bakuya do more damage to the Monster (possibly able to ignore the armor) as the swords have anti-monster properties. Also, I don't believe the monster is able to dodge a broken Caladbolg as the speed of it's travel is around or above Mach 10 and that the monster would get pulled towards it due the sword's twisting distortion in space. Though, I believe Shirou would definitely use Hrunting instead as it is effective enough and uses less Magical Energy than Caladbolg. Well, keep up the good work, though you should brush up on the grammar some more.
