Not all that bad of a chapter. Seems like things are evening out quite a bit. Hopefully this with continuing theme going forward.

Hmm is don’t know about ships. Most people seem to do wash with either Blake or Yang.

My main thing was concerning Washes armor. Does he still have it? Or does Ozpin have it? I know Wash knows he can’t just walk around in his armor but I would think he still feels naked without it. I mean it basically was a second skin, and was probably trained to be able to wear it for days or maybe even weeks without even taking it off, especially back when he was a frontline soldier and for stakeouts it’s other long missions with Freelancer.

If he doesn’t have access to it I hope he gets it back. Heck maybe Ruby can even find a way to make it smaller and able to be carried and activated later.

interesting while it was implied in Red VS Blue, that Remnant exists within their universe and the UNSC is aware of it, considering when the Implication was made, it might have just been an Easter Egg Reference like when that one guy blew up the moon.

A good part of me hopes that South will side with Beacon - if only temporarily. Seeing them as the best option for her survival / safety against the Meta.

Even with what Wash said about her, I feel she could easily make a good argument in defence of her actions. Wash after all did want her to get Delta out at all costs, right? In his current condition, and Delta’s evaluation of him, Wash wouldn’t be of much use in holding the Meta off.
All things considered, I’d say her original plan to leave him as a diversion was a rather good one. Besides, theirs enough leeway to say that she didn’t actually plant a explosive charge on him; South could have known that the healing unit would have assisted in his survival before the Meta ever got his hands on it.

But those are just my thoughts on the possibility.
It’d definitely be quite the original concept - not many, if any, people use south in this way. Might even provide some interesting character development...

I love this, the premise for this FanFiction is really well done and I hope this continues, even though there’s a bit of spelling errors, I loved it regardless, and I hope that the new chapters would be released very soon

Why would they reverse engineer his weapons. Wouldn’t that make them weaker? I’m sure Washington isn’t going to be happy when he finds out Ozpin is someone that manipulates and uses people for his secret war against Salem who he won’t even tell the people in his little circle about

I’ll say it now, never was a fan of the five member team thing. Though there are some good stories which incorporate it - I will admit this - personally, I kinda found it all to be kinda cheap - especially when it’s with team RWBY specifically.
Though, what’s done is done, can’t really complain about it much now. All I can do is hope that it will be at the very least interesting.

Now that initiation is done with, I hope things will slow down a bit more. Give some time to meaningful development and characterisation. That would be rather nice.

Not bad, could have been fleshed out some more though.
The story did tend to go from one situation to another quite fast. It might be nice to slow things down a tad; maybe have a chance to really fill things out in a meaningful way.

Secondly, I do hope that the characterisation will be interesting and not entirely one sided and bland - this would be in regards to not only Washington, but also South and the Meta.

Try to make them interesting. Make them realistic, and not have them be shallow characters. Have some area’s where you take things from both the Meta’s and Main’s point of view. Give reason for why South does what she does and give reasons to why she’s chosen the path she’s on. Make the understandable people.
Please, don’t go the easy route and make them one dimensional. It would be an absolute shame.

I'd say that from the remake, you've definitely improved quite a lot. One issue I've kinda been having is the punctuation, as he some sentences that the characters spoke could have used exclamation points for example, but other than that, Remaster is an improvement
