This is very well written and I enjoyed reading it. The character's motivations are well set up and the story arc (taking down the empire) is clear - it's a good hook and a great first chapter. I'll admit was slightly taken aback by the abrupt military porn near the end of the chapter (namedropping makes and models of guns and knives, etc) however it's justifiable given the path options you picked in the CYOA, and goodness knows it's a lot more coverage than vigilante path options usually get. Great first chapter, and I look forward to seeing more!
