It was a jarring read over all, the writing felt a bit constricted, but you were able to portray the madness excellently. Yes the plot was all over the place and the conclusion was a bit bland. But I personally liked it.

Regarding "Totsuka x Yukino moments" if they could be called as such, to be honest, you did not fail in conveying the conflict of feelings of Totsuka. Rather you failed in convincing how Yukino grew to like Totsuka from Hachiman. But as you said, the focus of this story is not romance. Love is merely a driving motive.

Other than those minor tidbits, this is easily one of your finest sculpted works.

Komachi dies so Hachiman goes on a warpath to find the killer, while at the same time gathering allies and dir tying his hands in madness.
