To the review that is constantly criticizing every little thing: it’s called suspension of belief. And considering the riots began I think it’s highly plausible that most of the guard would be defending the royal family and trying to find their Northern hostage. And like the another review stated: it’s called pure luck and it makes sense since most is Sansa’s plight in this current environment is a stroke of luck and a bit of pluck since this is Sansa of the future.

Every story will have flaws. It’s either your vibe or not.

Im not overly familiar with the layout of Kings Landing but 4 guards for one of the gates inside the biggest town of Westeros seems to be an awfully low number - I would have suspected even at the smallest gate to encounter 20 gold cloaks.

Then how was Lady able to sneak up on them -
No medieval Keep or town had anything obstructing the view in its surrounding to allow for seeing threats from far away to have time to react properly.

What I also have to wonder about - how did the word reach the gate of a missing Sansa that fast -

There was a tumult chaos it might have taken minutes for someone to even notice she was missing until word could be sent either through or around that mob more time would have been wasted.

So IMO it would have been far more realistic if Sansa ploy would have worked -
Especially since it erases their traces ...

Good chapter. A bit of a stroke of luck, but the closest to realistic way of rescuing Sansa that doesn't result in some 8 chapters of just planning, finding holes at the Red Keep, etc. A good, quick and believeable rescue.

Well, now Balon haven't attack back home, Theon is no turncloak, the Freys aren't pissed and the Kingslayers remains captured... Can't wait to see the consequences on Rob's War.

I suspect that Sansa's plan is to go to High Garden and make an alliance with the Tyrells.

What an interesting story! I’m excited to see the next chapter.

I know it sort of is the premise of this story that Sansa has contact with Theon to make the pairing work.

But seriously Sansa is allowed to write and receive letters - who allows that? the possibility for her to pass on intel in any form is just too great. So I really cant see this happening.

Anyone else needs to listen to Sansa, too.

Yo, great promise of the story. A more cunning and cold Sansa still in the body of a child and in a powerless situation and a still arrogant and rash Theon slowly being forced to mature both through the war and a planning that is normally uncharacteristic for him.
Can't wait for more.

I am really liking this piece so far. It is so interesting how young Sansa would be knowing what was going to happen. Like how Jon reacted to Sansa being happy to see him. And I love that Theon and Sansa is the main pairing as there aren't many. Oh Theon seems to believe her and managed to send Talisa away. And now they have Roslin. That should make things interesting. Update soon.

Wow! Couldn't wait to read the next chapter even though I don't have the time. But it was worth it. Well set up and delightfully written.
