I feel like this was just meant to shit on the buffyverse and its characters with the over extremeness of dmc. Considering buffy is an old show with lowbudget. Alot of monsters and characters are never show wat their full strength or power can do some of which are on dantes lvl and some beyonde. If look at the comics u see being like illyria weaken where falls in strenght and durability have buildings and factories dropped and her and shrug it wrestle with dragons for fun. And stopping speeding trucks and vehicles like nothing. Or whem buffy and angel become gods buffy is literally able to lift 3 giantic beings like the savior dante fought without effort and easily speed across the world in seconds. And even buffy with just normal slayer powers can destroy a building having sex takes on demons the size dante fight and easily defeats one with a magic sword willow creates and this is an old one that can crush all of reality. Im not saying she is stronger but that puts her in league with spidermab and blade .Hell u go dhoffryn who can wipe out dante with just a wish . And willow at her most powerful can move mountains and conquer dimensions. So all i see is a mary sue no consideration or much respect but yea different stories i guess.

Hahaha! The Council got whipped by Dante. Then there's Glory, who her sorry *** killed after severely underestimating Dante's power and paid for it. Buffy and the rest of the Scooby gang will remember this for a long time, especially Giles. Thus, a new friendship between The Vampire Slayer and The Demon Hunter is born. The one sided Dante vs Glory battle reminded of a story called Man of Steel, World of Marvels, a YAHF where Xander wore a Superman costume that turned him into a Superman after he woke up from his coma caused by the Superman vs Doomsday battle which lead to the defeat of both Hero and Monster, where Xander would smack around and destroy Glory after her failed attempt to kill Buffy and the other Scoobies.
