Beautiful open ending. :)

Now I can rest easy to know that the depressing dream premonition was just the bond's way of showing the future lovers the what if's, not necessarily the exact future.. Now that they're on their way to something more positive in their relationship, it's finally fulfilling to see a HEA that isn't exactly an epilogue. It was pretty brilliantly done considering it's a not-epilogue, but close enough leaving us an open ending. :)

I really do love those compared to close ended ones, no matter how happy.

Interesting development. I think the way you stained Harry's hand with blood of revenge may actually work on the Gryffindor's favor. If it ever comes to head that Harry knows intimately the details of Severus' activities as a Death Eater, this killing would prove to the Slytherin that Harry is as dark and vengeful as any human can be. It won't do well for Harry if Severus keeps thinking of him as too pure for himself after all.

That was a nice chapter for Harry. It gave him insight on how Severus' mind works and the pains as well as darkness that comes with him. At least now, Harry can understand the depth and layers enough to be able to claim that he truly does accept him wholly and not just the pleasant persona he's discovered. The only problem now would be for Harry to express without offending Severus. XD

They finally made up. :)

I love the fact that while it's Severus that's reaching out, Harry does realize how much effort the other man is giving to their relationship and appreciates it.

That torture was dreadful.. although I actually have to admit that the damsel in distress routine would be sufficient reason enough for both our boys to stop acting needlessly foolish about their little not-yet- lover spat.

Harry didn't even remember dream!Severus! How was he suppose to learn from it aside from the general unease? XD

Although I suppose if he did, we would have Harry and Severus together again too soon. I think they need the space after all.

Ouch. That slap was well deserved, but also not so much. Harry just caught Severus by surprise. XD

The dream about the closing of the bond was depressing though. Especially the one for Severus when he resigned himself to his death and even welcomed it. Dream!Harry's acceptance of it kind of hurt.. Like it was so easy to move on from it, wanted to so much that he didn't even allow himself to mourn for long. Dream!Severus' sacrifice should haven't meant more attachment! XD

Just finished entire series and want to first tell you that I deeply enjoyed it. I only wish it had continued but you left your readers with hope that maybe their joint dreams of a happy life post war was possible.

I'm sad you ended the story here! Why not let the relationship develop more?

I must say...this is by far one of the best Snarry that I have ever read...and Snarry is my main pairing! Severus was just so sweet, even at the snarkiest of times, and when he finally realized that he was in love and it wasn't unrequited...*coos* ah! Too much..so sweet. A perfect 10!

Oh my god... That was just an amazing, excellent, brilliantly written story. The ending was just so breathtaking. Keep up the good work!
