| elementalmage2008 chapter 17 . 6/22/2009 Another good one. i liked the ending a lot better, and the overall depression of Harry was kind of ncie because he reminded me as more of a "frodo" kind of character. The Character that never really heals from all of his horrific experiences... once i read about the hunt for the horcruxes, i secretly hoped that harry might not end up with that Fairytale ending i wanted for him when i first picked up the books. Or at least, i wanted him to not marry Ginny... oh well. Still, i wish you had answered the question about sirius, and the veil, and whether or not harry meets up with him, and his parents. I might be able to "make my own ending" but not knowing still leaves room for it to not come true, and it just doesn't give that sense of finality that holds the waking curiosity at bay... i suppose that all of those barely finished endings will gnaw at me forever, and i won't truely be rid of them though, because too many people are fond of them... still enough about my depressing thoughts. It was a wonderful read and i hope that you continue to write many successful stories. |
