I tried to kill myself and I know the self-loathing and self-hatred that you described and that's one of the reasons why I love this character so much. I am also glad that I survived because life is made of ups and downs, it's about lessons not just about being happy. I can't stop crying and I thank you from the bottom of my heart because these stories are very healing for me. You are absolutely amazing and I hope he went on to become an author and share this beautiful and emotional gift that you have with the world. I am hypnotized at every page.

I read this story years ago and it immediately became one of my favorites to date. You have no idea how much this influenced my entire take on the HP fandom. It is a singularly unique, well-written, in-character, happy-yet-heartbreaking piece of art. Years later, now, I wanted to read it again and for the life of me could not recall the title or author. This past week I have skimmed through literally hundreds of fics on this site and finally found this one... so thankful it is still here. I read it again in a single sitting and found myself loving it even more than last time. Your writing is strong enough to hold up over the years, even as we in the fandom get older. Love this story. I just wonder if Bellatrix was caught and how Harry reacted to see Snape (even in dog form) at Lupin's. I won't read the sequel because it didn't capture my interest and it is a rather disappointing because I would like to know what happened. But really? Well this story was good and I enjoyed.

Aww, I absolutely love this story! I am happy to stumble across this treasure. Being an animal lover, it really hit home. Love this story, original plot that I haven't seen before. I come across de-aging or time travel never one like this. Very original and appreciated. Well thought out and well written. Out of all the treatments I could have thought of I never would have come to this lol. I had the same reaction as Hagrid when Remus and Hermione called Severus an ugly dog. There are no ugly puppers, Ever. They're all beautiful and too good for this world. Love your story, I can't wait to get to the next part in this series. It's a really great read.

Oh, I just *love* this story! I love it! Touching and well written. It takes "what could have been", a friendship between Severus and Remus, and develops it into something wonderful. There needs to be more stories like this in the world, of friendship and healing. I honestly can't think of anything I would change, especially. since you say there will be a sequel. I am interested in finding out what happens next.
