Reviews for Strange Empathy
Guest chapter 6 . 1/14/2019
LOL, At what age in the books or in fanfiction would it be appropriate for Harry to tell an adult, rather than try to handle all rescue efforts alone?
Guest chapter 4 . 1/14/2019
This is a surprisingly sweet story, and the friendship is developing believably.
Riya1112 chapter 21 . 3/25/2018
I have come across very few fics where Harry and Draco are friends. This has to be the best one that I have come across. This was beautifully written. I loved how their relationship was slowly built. I loved the plot. The story was great. Thank you so much for sharing this. This really was beautiful.
KIMMIKY chapter 8 . 5/31/2017
I have to say, no matter that I have jumped on this rather late bandwagon in a rather hasty fashion, this has got to be my favourite fic!

The sarcasm is just so me. Snape may very well be my own long lost daddy! Lolololololol
Guest chapter 21 . 3/29/2017
I love this story!
aalens chapter 21 . 8/27/2015
Thanks for writing this. It is one of the best on FFN.
spk chapter 21 . 1/6/2013
I love how you slowly built the relationships between Harry, Snape, and Draco; it made it more realistic. :)
Reader-anonymous-writer chapter 21 . 12/22/2012
'We explained that we wouldn't stop even if we ran into minus numbers in points. And then Hermione and Neville may have threatened to turn them all green.' This surprised a snort out of the older man.
Amused. Brilliant, but Gryffindish.
'Understandable, although I am curious as to how you managed it. I believed this room was unable to be locked.'
Yet, wards can be cast nearby the door, so that even a mosquito wouldn't be able to fly into the room.
'And how did you hear that anyway? Just something spies develop?' 'Fourth year Slytherins actually.' Snape answered distractedly and looked up at the laughter the comment produced.
Hilarious.
Professor McGonagall said that none of the Professors would see through it except Professor Dumbledore. And I said that you would. So now we have no homework.
Amused. First, even though colours were different, most of the facial features apparently stayed the same, or, at least, familiar enough. Second, manner of walking, acting, speaking - they could give you away even if the face was disguised heavily enough.
'Draco when did you learn to do that?' Severus examined Draco's defences carefully. There was something not quite right. 'Harry.' Severus moved his attention quickly to Harry. Who was now entirely undefended. The Quidditch Pitches.
Amused beyond measure.
Honeydukes chocolate. He broke it into thirds and placed a piece in front of Snape and Malfoy. 'Good for driving away demons.' Malfoy returned with three bottles of Butterbeer. 'It's well hidden. And helps with the demon driving.' Snape looked across at them, muttered something about Firewhisky being even more efficient. He reached for the Butterbeer and, after a pause, the chocolate. And for a while they sat together in a silence that was not entirely uncomfortable.
Amused. Wistful. Wondering...
'He's perfectly well. The lion shall lie down with the snake. And everything will be connected as it should be.'
Wonder. Prophetic dream? About Draco, Harry and Severus?
'Who knows?' Luna interjected. 'Perhaps Harry has seen something we have not.' 'Luna, have you ever heard of a fanged flobberworm?'
Does Harry remember the dream?
As for the cats, Lord I hope not. I can just see my cats trying to commit me – 'well she stays up all night reading and writing and then has fits of hysteria and threatens to throw the computer across the room. Plus she talks to us as if we're going to talk back…'
Amused.
Hermione watched Harry curiously. If he and Draco were friends, why had he ignored him?
Public relations. Voldemort. [Sighing] Gryffindors...
Did you hear Seamus say "and Harry saves Malfoy. Clearly the world has gone mad and Snape will soon be wearing pink robes and handing out chocolate frogs"? Nobody saw anything.
Amused. Clearly need to write it into a book.
'I'm not one of your projects.' 'I never said you were. I just meant that we could fix this.' 'Fix me. The great Harry Potter saving people once again!'
Fix Gryffindor-Slytherin prejudice, not 'fix Draco'.
Good day, good night, and good luck, Draco, Harry, Hermione, Ronald, Severus.
riverrat chapter 21 . 10/1/2012
Great story. A little hard to find out who is saying what sometimes. But I had fun reading it and I like how things got slowly from enemies to friends for Harry and Draco.
Now on to the sequel...
Arhie chapter 3 . 2/7/2012
Really like the story. It's definitely AU, like you said, but it's a kinder universe than cannon. I like to think our characters could have been this way, that Snape could have mentored the students and the big six with the DA could have made a real change with more psychology and less crash-boom-bang. I held out hope for something like this in cannon until the last page of the seventh book. Thanks for making it happen here. I look forward to reading on.
Harm Marie chapter 21 . 11/26/2011
Liked this.
Seph's Madisen Moss chapter 9 . 8/28/2011
'Metus', Latin for 'Fear'. Brilliant. This is one of my favorite stories, just rereading. Thanks for writing this fic.
Guest chapter 10 . 8/1/2011
I am enjoying your story so far, but when there is direct dialogue, it is often difficult to follow. It's hard to tell who is speaking, especially when there are more than two people having a conversation.
Yamatta chapter 7 . 7/9/2011
'You're on this side because you don't want to be manipulated? Have you met the Headmaster?'

Great line!
serenityselena chapter 21 . 10/8/2010
