What? Since when? There's the Ministry of Magic, and there's the Department of Mysteries. Apparently you've conflated the two? While I do generally enjoy this story, there are so many little glitches of this type in it that I really wish someone would go through and give it a good editing.

Re-read this in 4 hours after years of not reading it. This stands the test of time as an amazing piece of fiction!
