I'm new Alias and have read just about all the Sarkney's I can find. I just adored your story - great plot and characterizations. Torture was a bit much for me and I would have loved some smut in the last chapter. But overall - great writing! Hope you find your muse to write more Sarkney stories - even if it's been awhile.

Lady Carmilla Sanguina chapter 1 . 10/1/2011
When I read really good books, there are always parts that make me pause, make my heart flutter, or just make my face split with a giddy grin, and I always go back and reread that part, just because it was so good. You don't even know how many times that happened while reading this story. It probably took me twice as long to read this story just because there were so many things that I just had to go back and read again. It was so good. I can honestly say it's the best fanfic I've ever read. Like honestly I want to go reread the whole thing right now and just revel in it's amazingness.

From the way you kept every single one of them in character, to your beautiful insight into those characters. You have an amazing way with words and it was so believable, so real. I am so in love with this story. And what I really wanted to say was thanks. Thank you so much for sharing this story. I see that this is an old story, and I can only hope that you still write. Seriously, never stop.

I began reading his fic yesterday and just finished. And I totally loved it! It's one of the best stories I've ever read. And how you wrote the characters, and just everthing... awesome!

I think the scene I had to laugh the hardest was when Weiss and Vaughn talked and Weiss waited for Sark and thought of these terribly ridiculous things.

Anyways, I love your story and you're a great writer, if I was as good, I'd be happy! ;)

Brilliant. Best fan fic I have ever read. Characterisation was absolutely perfect in every scene. The sark and syd rapport was unbelievably realistic and true to the actors on screen chemistry. A thousand congratulations for being a superb writer. If you're not a professional author already you certainly could be.

hi there! (waves from oh-so-far in the future)

ok, it's been ages since you finished this story, but i only just found it this morning, and spent a wasteful day (in my boss' view) reading this from beginning to end.

i truly enjoyed it, bit my nails, and had to conceal out-loud gasps. you wove a tale of loyalty, friendship, hatred, distrust, gore, and made it seamless.

brava.

p.s. i know i'm more than fashionably late, but i figure, better late than never, especially when it comes to reviews ;)

I only recently got into Alias fanfiction. This is probably one of the best stories I have read. The characterization of Sark is excellent. Loved it.

Kirvash chapter 14 . 2/12/2007
Hello!

I've read this story many, many times. This is the best Sarkney fic I've found and I've looked around lot. Story is in character and there are many moments that I cannot seem to forget.

For me "the thing" is Sark's confession; "Do you think I want to be Julian Lazarey?", I felt it was half screamed in agony and in his own way he was begging Sydney's understanding I maybe found slight relief when the said words came out. He was worried about everything falling apart but in my eyes he became so much stronger.

"I can't give you a home, I can't give you safety. I'd offer you my heart but it isn't worth giving, I'm afraid."

-That was so... Gosh. I loved it. This story is so beautiful, even if it's not meant to be. So beautiful.

"I'm a killer, Sydney! I'm not Danny Hecht, I'm not Simon Walker, and I am sure as hell not Michael Vaughn!"

-So true.

"I don't... like," Sark gritted slowly, seizing Pike's arm and twisting, "... people... touching..." He took a fistful of Pike's hair and cracked his forehead once more against the table. "... what's... mine."

-I love his protective/jealous side. Yet he manages to let Sydney leave him if that is what she wants.. He's being rather considerate. I see ALOT of humor in here too. You have this touch, your writing reminds me of Guy Rithie. Black humor like in Lock, stock and two smoking barrels and in Snatch. Beautiful.

"That... episode, with Pike." he stated. "He was hurting you. I won't allow it."

"I'm not made of glass, Julian."

"I wasn't referring to your vulnerabilities. I was referring to my own."

-How do you manage to make him so... real and loveable?

Sark, her boyfriend, was threatening to shoot Vaughn, her former lover. Eric, her would-be hunny and best friend (since the death of Non-Clone Francie), was holding up Sark. Sydney, beloved by all, was aiming her gun at Eric.

-Hilarious, yet sad. I am so hooked.

“Nothing,” Eric answered truthfully, sinking back into his chair. “She was in a sewer, Sark has a hand-holding fetish, and I’m her knight in shining armor,” he said. “Nothing.”

-I laughed and laughed. Absolutely nothing.

Sark turned in a circle, raking a hand through his short blonde hair. This, Eric realized, was Sark's every fear confirmed.

He didn't know how to handle being in love.

-I'm lost with words, utterly beautiful.

"Because it's your decision, Blondie. Do you really think you can do the whole Picket Fence scene? 'Cause I gotta say, redemption don't look too likely for you at this point."

-That almost made me cry (ok, I'm pregnant so I cry over everything). Honestly, I've always liked Eric and I have to adore their 'co-operation'. And besides, I too would have chosen Sark. I mean, who wouldn't?

"Sydney," he attempted again. "Forgive my insidious timing, but I'm compelled to confess that I'm rather deeply in love wi-"

She quickly pressed a finger over his lips, halting his words. "Don't," she objected.

He promptly began arguing, but she shook her head to silence him, smiling faintly. "Don't say it. Don't change. I already know. I don't want to change you."

Mr. Sark's infamous smirk, the look of bemused superiority, returned full-force. He lazily ran his fingers across her face, taking his time replying.

"Silly girl," he drawled finally. "You already have."

-Wordless. You are talented.

I so love this story. My favorite of all time. Thank you for making this. You have one happy "fan" in Finland. Cheers.
