This is still one of my favourite stories having read it over ten years ago and reread it since. I'm sorry I owe you so many reviews and this one will be inadequate to how much I love this story but I realise I must say something as you deserve it.

I love how in character everyone is here and I love the pro Tea stance. She is one of my fave Yugioh characters and I hate how she is bashed by alot of the fandom. She's kind, strong, compassionate, intelligent and resourceful - all qualities you highlight here. Bakura is awesome, you paint him so well, I imagine him with that rich sneering British accent when you write (I'm British too by the way). I love seeing the chinks that armour of his and how Ryou affects him just as he has had such an impact on Ryou. Plus I love the jealousy! The scene where he pretends to be Ryou and holds her from behind is so beautifully written and you can tell how much he's enjoying it and then he gets really pissed realising she thinks it's Ryou and not him - like dude you're a psychotic killer that's imprisoned her and her friends, help another psycho take over the world causing countless deaths, not to mention possessing Ryou and banishing Yami, like of course she's not head over heels for you! Lol! But of course he sees it in his own terms as her weakness for not viewing the world in the harsh way he does and it's their discussions on this front that I adore - I love pairings like this for that. I also love the character development you were weaving.

I also like the little hints of Seto x Tea and Marik x Tea like yesssssss bring on all the hot guys, I'm down with both of those pairings! The little bit with Mokuba and Seto where she leans on him at the start was awesome. I also think this might have been the start of me really enjoying Big Sis! Tea with Mokuba because I've woven that into my current Tea x Seto piece, it's super cute. The bit at the end where she is trying to protect him is great.

Also the ball scene is the best! Gotta love the gorgeous dress trope and the dancing and the possessiveness from Bakura hehe.

Buuuut we gotta talk about Tea x Ryou here cos that is the sweetest thing. His soft, ardent thoughts about her just melt my heart everytime. I can really feel his true nature coming from this and it makes him such a tragic character. It makes sense actually that he would fall for Tea who like himself is very sweet and compassionate person but also strong-willed which he admires (I actually think she's tougher than a lot of the characters think she is in the fic). You really brought out the potential for this pairing for me and add the angst/sexiness of Vexshipping as well and woah the potential! You really gave me the bug for these two pairings so thank you. I think you also helped me get on board the MarikxTea ship too!

So likely you'll never finish this and probably won't see this review but I had to post it anyway. I wish you well whatever you are doing in your life and if you ever go back to this story, know you have a faithful review in it from me. Thanks again!

Ten years later, wonderful fic

Okey, i have to said that i love and hate this story. I really felt both ways. Becouse it was amaizing, one of the best i had ever read before... and i read a lot but this just, i couldn't stop to know how it would finish... but then that is when i started to hate this story. Becouse it have no end. And i am about to freak out becouse of this. I hope that ten years later someday before you die, please please finish this. I know maybe it is no worth my time writting this. But i just needed to take out this. English is no my mother lenguaje so, sorry if i wrote something wrong. Bye

I really love this slow burn fic. You're making this pairing believable and that in itself is a true show of skill. I can't wait to read more and I hope you will update again soon. I'm enjoying this fic a lot. :)

God, its been forever since you've updated, but I still read through this story like an addict.
