Hm...I hope this doesn't sound vague but I am trying to avoid spoilers...The use of the word " admire" and the description of Kate's feelings in the second drabble are great... The salt packet in the third drabble is wonderful. Besides it's use in the plot, it immediately sets the scene by putting the image of the characters huddled over McDonald's combo meals into the reader's mind. |
