I can see this was a hard chapter for you to write. Keep at it! It’s good to see authors push through those blocks cause that’s when the good stuff starts to come out! I’ll be eagerly awaiting the rest of your chapters!

I loved this story! Just two things I hated - that Kagome was paired with Hojo (eww! He's nice but so blah and boring!). More than that, I felt betrayed because it clearly stated a Sesshomaru, Kagome pairing in the summary... The other being that this was unfinished - a pity because had this been a Sesshomaru Kagome pairing, it's a brilliant story! Here's to hoping you'll come back and finish this with a SK pairing XD Thanks for sharing

I can't believe it's the last chapter... Unfortunately (fortunately? since there were very little developments only Sesshie's one sided feelings) this doesn't seem like it's going to be a SessKag actually, and I'm so sad to realize that now when it seems the story's near the end/climax...though there were hints of HojoKag early on, I'd really really hoped not. Since it looks like Kagome will have to go back to future once Naraku/Shikon are dealt with, and we all know Hojo's waiting on the other side, she's got a crush on him and she's already promised him...unless she goes back and Hojo doesn't work out and Sess lives waits through for her til then...but that's sad...

I loved your story, really enjoyed it. Only thing for me was that around the last few chapters while there was some crazy drama and developments (which was great!) the lack of SessKag development or any hint thereof did start to wane my interest...as I'd picked up the story thinking it was SessKag and pesevered even though all signs pointed to HojoKag, guess it was my bad.

I do hope you're well and just busy with life. While it would be great if you finished this story, whether you do or not, I hope you're still continuing to write as you're a talented writer. Thanks for sharing!

So glad Inutaisho finally fixed things...actually he only appeared after his poor kids fixed things. Pretty darn cowardly actually. It's great that Inuyasha heard the whole story and while I'm really happy the brothers are now good, and Inuyasha's forgiven his dad, I feel like Taisho got off way too easy compared to the decades of heartbreak, hurt and anger his sons had to live through!

No! Poor Myouga! :(

"Just then a bolt of lightening lit up the sky... The improbable duo looked to each other as another bolt of lightening lit up the sky" - both should be lightning not lightening

Ugh Kagome bugs me here. There's plenty of opportunities where Koga claims her that she could've set him straight. She doesn't have to insist on taking him somewhere private to let him down gently, just say nicely "no I'm not your woman". I'd thought Koga being hardheaded bulldozing over her objections but can't just blame him as it looks like Kagome's been somewhat leading him on...

I'm so hoping this will be a Sesshomaru Kagome pairing...the way Hojo Kagome's relationship has been built up though, I can't see her leaving him too easily... *sniffle*

Amazing...yet another unique idea. The truth behind the Shikon finally revealed. Certainly an idea I haven't come across in all my reading of IY fanfics yet.

Heavy drama...angst... You convey Inuyasha's feelings very well...too well...so sad.

My imagination was going wild in this chapter. "Very handsome, regal bearing, intangible quality where definition eludes her?" I thought no, he's not going to end up being her and Sess's kid now is he? No, no...surely not. But then by "golden flecks in his eye, deep voice - foreign but strangely familiar..." I was filled with dread...no it can't be Sesshomaru right? Though "he'd waited for her for so long...you (Kagome) have demons to fight" didn't help matters...well it's metaphorical anyways...right? *nervous laugh*

You have very little errors so far and other typos are minor but this one does change the meaning so FYI: "The word came to her mind like a bolt of lightening..." it should be "lightning"

Smart Shippo. Kagome and Miroku are the empathic ones. Sango's a fighter but not too much for emotional care. And to catch on to how Onigumo had known about Kikyo and Inuyasha's intentions with the jewel...

Oh dear...drama galore. A hotheaded confused hanyou is not a good thing.

An Ice Youkai? Resembling an ice sculpture? Fascinating! I thought of The Thinker...in ice...and clothed of course...

Aww~ Sesshomaru has someone whose opinion he values at times above his own? I'm really liking your Sesshomaru...while definitely very smart, he's wise and can tone down his arrogance if needed :) This is the one person I can see Lord Sessh answering "hai" to. (*mumbles...if I had a dollar for every time Sessh answers to servants and his underlings with the polite/subservient "Hai" I coulda bought me a new PC by now...*)

Poor Sesshomaru and Inuyasha! Ugh...Inutaisho! And to go and give up his life without amending the misunderstanding he caused! He unfortunately doesn't seem to very smart or strong in this story...making one mistake after another...which in itself is okay, but not acknowledinging and rectifying the mistakes...what a mess!

Seeing Kagome mull over the brothers' relationship, I started off by thinking I'm so glad we didn't have to see Kagome go home (as it'll just be her at school/taking it up with Hojo ) ...usually I love those little snippets but facing an uncompleted story, I'm grateful we're focussing on where our favorite characters are - the sengoku jidai - and where the action is at. Then I realized she was reminiscing at home, but it was very well done and didn't detract from the main story at all.

The Sango-Yasha talk was nice...I didn't think of the obvious connection there ; Both Sesshomaru and Inuyasha are hurting...I really hope they're able to reconcile soon...

You know the manga Guidebooks / Fanbooks (?) that come out for popular series that are just chock-full of facts about the series and its characters? Well, these last two chapters would serve as an excellent Fanbook with psychoanalysis on all characters save Narakucompany. You've shown great insight on these characters...their perspectives, hidden thoughts, why they are the way they are... Marvelously done!

As I suspected, Sesshomaru wasn't trying to kill or even out to injure Yasha... what on earth is the promise that Sesshomaru was kicking himself over for making earlier, time and time again? There's more to this than meets the eye...
