IVE READ Moriquendi AND I WAS JUST SHOCKED IT WAS STILL UNFINISHED HUHU. THEN I CHECKED AND I WAS BOTHERED WHY IT TOOK MANY YEARS ALREADY WHEN YOU LAST UPDATED IT. THEN I CHECKED GOOGLE AND I SAW YOU ALSO POSTED THIS STORY ON 2 OTHER SITES. I WAS QUITE HOPEFUL, HOPING IT WAS FINISHED IN EITHER OF THESE 2 OTHER SITES. BUT IT WAS NOT. I WAS JUST REALLY REALLY HOPING AND PRAYING THAT YOU WILL FINISH THIS STORY BECAUSE IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND REALLY WORTH PUBLISHING! RIP to this. I mean, it wasn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination but with a little tweaking to the pacing, plot and character development, it could have been worthy of publishing. Seriously loads of potential with this author. I'm sad to see it left unfinished. I've been checking up on this for about 5 years now, secretly hoping to see the next chapter pop up (and if some of these forlorn, pining reviews from the same people year after year are any indication, I'm not the only one). Oh well. I'd like to imagine the author just grew out of this (and not.. other stuff, as evidenced by their updates which seem to suggest they've been unwell).. but whatever the case I hope she's doing alright these days! I really hope someone takes the dark elves trope and gives it a new life, not necessarily in fanfiction but I'd love to see a novel series or tv show dealing with the concept. It worked so well here. Reading this was really inspiring in terms of ideas. Well done and thank you for writing as much as you did! Alright kiddos let's pack up and go home.

I hope you are not dead because no one in their right mind would ever wanna discontinue such an amazing story. I would literally give up skittles forever if it meant u would continue this story.

I would love to see this story come to completion. Or, at least, see Legolas and Rhinure's child.

Probably for the best this wasn't continued. Legolas and Cothion's rivalry was poorly handled, you basically had to completely change the latter so as to force a positive outcome for the former. The end goals of Legolas and Cothion were not mutually exclusive and there's no reason that Rhinure would end up having to choose one or the other, she could maintain her tradition and duty to her people and still be a dutiful wife to her husband. If she can't see that, perhaps she isn't all she was cracked up to be. Also, Cothion getting so unhinged about his brother seemed completely contradictory to the stoic Avari you made him out to be. That in hindsight more than anything should've been where I realized things were going downhill for this fic. Long story short, character assassination is a cheap way to achieve a desired outcome, even more so if that outcome is achievable anyway through better means.
