great story, you are a BX fan good work and you make buffy and to a good person...

why does every find it so hard that buffy could love xander... i mean willow turns gay, oz cheats, realy with vampire sluts, buffy sleep with spike when he is still soul less, take him back after he tried to rape her and buff sleep with a guy that is very old, and guils said is not to be trusted.. THAT YOU ALL BELIVE but that buffy could love a guy that been with her for 7 years old that she trusted complety is so inpossable..

I really like how you wrote Xander. My favorite part though was Buffy's letter at the end. Great stuff.

Congratulations! You are one of the few writers to see through the Immortal's false facade to the manipulative hedonist that he really is. Obviously, Buffy is under some kind of spell or thrall, for two glaring reasons. First, she would NEVER refer to Angel or Spike as "jerks," no matter what the circumstances while in her right mind. Secondly, while Xander has always had the hots for Buffy, he is still too much of a brother figure for that image to be shattered os quickly, regardless of how much lard he's managed to sweat off or how many times he forgot to wear his sunscreen. Any kind of romantic relationship between Buffy and Xander would take a very long time to establish, and also, Buffy isn't the jump-in-blind-with-feet type. I look forward to seeing how this works out, as i'm sure many other readers do. Please don't keep us waiting too long. Excellent story so far.

After watching the episode I felt like Joss had crushed the last hange on happyness for Buffy by tramping her down once more.
And I also thought it drove the final nail in the coufin of whatever was left of my B/X-shipness, that I should stick with X/Aud and C/X.
So seeing him turn up was an extremely pleasand surprise :-). And the way you made it work made me realise that even while it is hopeless to ship the canon Jossverse B/X, they will always remain a nice ship to read fics about. :-)

This is the 2nd time I've started one of your fics and the 2nd time I'v been unpleasantly surprised by the B/X ending. Its gotten to the point where I don't even want to read your fic for fear of the disconcerting B/X love. And I'm not the only one.
I'v always enjoyed your fic and I understand and respect that your a multi ship author with a soft spot for Xander. If B/X is where your muse is taking you by all means go there.
But for the people who read the fic you create and do not want to go there with you, it would be a show of respect for them to mention the ship involved before the start of the fic.
This quick and easy step is something that has been mentioned by other reviewers (strangely enough on another B/X fic) and I now join them. That way if a certain ship is not the readers cup a tea they can skip a fic that will bring pleasure to know one, them the reader or you the author has they now feel the need to infom you just why they don't like you fic.
This was not meant to offend the author but make him aware of a problem.

Just as well the "dark-haired woman" wasn't either Faith or Dawn. That would have been even more disturbing, but probably not out of character for the Imortal.

Interesting and well written-but a total stretch for Buffy to feel anything for Xander. While Fanfiction is all about exploration, I think you traveled away from character believability. Better Luck, next time.
