Gosh, you do sometimes forget that Yami has a pretty messed up past too. Very well written, I loved it! They're a perfect couple.

In this relationship, i see Yami being the 'strong' one that holds them together. And if he ever lost his footing Kaiba would inevitably start to fall right behind him. And i could see him never truly taking the time to realize how just-as-damaged Yami is. Beautifull story!

Now that I'm rereading this, I can't believe how good it is. I love that line where Seto says I beg for nothing and never on my knees but to any god or devil... that is so cool and I can hear him say it.

And I love that what calls Yami back is the realization that Seto needs him, that in a sense, he made him a promise

Nice idea - it's always good to see a role reversal, especially a well done one. Really nice writing style you have there! I seriously can't think of anything to critisize with that, except maybe that I found the fact Seto is roecounting what Yami says, instead of it actually being "said" a little...not off-putting. Jsut slightly jarring to read.
